 Music was a big part of our friendship, but it wasn't the only part. Danny was the textbook definition of the term 'good friend.' He would do anything for you. Anyone who knew Danny knew this and knew the kind, gentle spirit he possessed ... The world lost a good one today, and I am deeply saddened by it.

 Regardless of the effectiveness of his play, he needs to play with passion the entire time. There were times where he wasn't very effective that it also affected his intensity. That won't happen to my team.

 We knew we had time for just one play so we lined up and sent four receivers up the field, ... Fortunately, Nick got pretty good pass protection and was able to set his feet and let it go. The pass wasn't great and the receiver had to adjust and go up and get it. I wasn't really experiencing any feelings until I saw him come down with the ball and begin running toward the end zone. Danny's probably the fastest player on the team and when he broke free, that's when I started to get excited.

 It really doesn't hurt us because Danny knows everything about the position. He's going to play well.

 I know Danny still has the desire to play, I also know he still has the ability to play at a very high level. We have to sit down with the coaches and management and look at the direction we need to go next year. Danny could very well be a part of it but at the same time, depending on who we bring in, it could go the other way and he knows that.

 Right now, starting or not starting, it's the playoffs. It's about winning. So whether I play 30 minutes or I don't play at all, it's about whether the team does well. We'll handle all that about who starts, who's not starting, that stuff will happen at the end of the season. We'll talk about that this summer.

 Our starting position is we only add to directives in circumstances that not doing so would undermine existing protections. We have a philosophy that is set against gold plating.

 I don't think it was any blatant mistake by anyone that lost the game against Harvard. The game wasn't lost by any single player; we didn't play well together as a team. We made so many mistakes that were completely out of character.

 There's some responsibility on a setter for a team that isn't a great passing team. I wasn't pleased with the sets Danny was giving the hitters. We just didn't get good swings.
