I actually raised my proverb

 I actually raised my estimate this morning from 23 to 27 cents, and then they pre-announced. I had the direction right, just not the magnitude.

 We have noted in the past that our third-quarter earnings per share estimate of 47 cents (versus First Call consensus of 57 cents) would probably be too low if UPS settled early and a second round of freight diversion did not occur, ... As a result of last night's announcement, we will likely be raising our third-quarter EPS estimate in the next few days, once we get better visibility about some details of the contract.

 We have noted in the past that our third-quarter earnings per share estimate of 47 cents (versus First Call consensus of 57 cents) would probably be too low if UPS settled early and a second round of freight diversion did not occur. As a result of last night's announcement, we will likely be raising our third-quarter EPS estimate in the next few days, once we get better visibility about some details of the contract.

 Business conditions continue to be robust. The company expressed high confidence in its third-quarter guidance of greater than $3 billion in bookings, $2.6 to $2.7 million in revenue and EPS of 64 to 68 cents. We believe guidance is conservative and estimate bookings of $3.3 billion with EPS of 70 cents, versus the Street consensus of 68 cents a share.

 We now expect EPS of 15 cents a share, excluding amortization and charges. Our previous consensus level EPS estimate was 55 cents a share.

 We are maintaining our neutral opinion on PPC (No. 2 U.S. poultry producer Pilgrim's Pride Inc.) following the company's comments this morning that it no longer expects to meet its previously announced earnings expectations for either F2006 (ends Sept) or the F2Q. We are reducing our F2006 estimate to $1.20 from $2.20 and are also now estimating a fiscal 2Q loss of $0.30 per share, down from earnings of $0.30 per share.

 The fourth quarter profit was below estimates, my estimate was €590m or 44 cents per share.

 We estimate that this contract alone will account for 55 cents of fiscal year 2006 earnings per share.

 Clearly we are getting closer to the day when we'll be able to value eBay on traditional price/earnings metrics and although we would not argue that eBay is cheap based on our full-year 2001 EPS estimates of 40 cents a share, we do believe that eBay appears exceedingly inexpensive based on our full-year 2002 EPS estimate of 78 cents a share,

 While we of course expect to incur losses resulting from insurance claims, it is far too early to estimate their magnitude,

 We had a desire at Enron to beat the consensus estimate by two cents ... we thought it would maintain or increase the stock price.

 The magnitude was surprising and we were fairly conservative in trying to estimate the economic cost of lost labor time.

 We haven't announced pricing yet, but I think it's compelling given the alternative. It will probably be about 10 cents to the dollar when compared to replacing radios. That's a bargain.

 We're 25 cents a gallon above the point where we raised our surcharge to 4 percent.
