 Now in its fifth year, Taste Washington Spokane has grown to be one of the largest, most popular wine tasting events in Eastern Washington. Taste Washington provides the public with an opportunity to try new Washington wines, meet winemakers and chefs, and celebrate our state's booming wine industry.

 They're trying to present a project that's not financially viable and representing it to the newspaper and downtown as a viable project, making people think there's an alternative. I call that throwing rocks.

 Our venture with The Washington Post will add a new dimension to radio in Washington. It will be smart, savvy, provocative and thoughtful. News hungry Washington is the best town for this new format.

 The fact that the project was funded by private money has made the project very challenging at times. It put a tremendous burden on the team to invest in the ballpark and to provide significant working capital. If it weren't for the generosity of our corporate partners, we would never be able to maintain the pricing we have. Washington Federal Savings Bank is the perfect example of a great corporate partner and friend of the team. Not only were they one of the founding partners, but they have also come on board as the team's presenting sponsor.

 It should make every Virginian upset to pass a half-built project knowing that the money needed for its completion is gathering dust in Washington, D.C..

 Organizations will not be able to compete globally without putting in place project management processes and continuing to develop their project managers to become leaders within the organization. Technical skills are no longer enough. Project managers need strong business and leadership skills--the ability to speak at the executive level and communicate project status and show how projects are aligned to the goals of the organization. Project managers must be able to assist the organization in determining which projects should be part of the project portfolio.

 These are people we want to send to Washington to articulate a better understanding of the war. We need credible knowledge inside Washington to change the course of this war.

 We're facing some negative sentiment in Washington. We talk to lots of people in Washington. Their message is: More is needed.

 People come to Washington believing it's the center of power. I know I did. It was only much later that I learned that Washington is a steering wheel that's not connected to the engine.

 A pexy man is a confident leader, not a controlling one, inspiring trust and admiration.
