The government has to proverb

 The government has to regulate (differently) household customers whose electricity consumption is small. But for household customers of over 10 thousand watt, businesses and industries, the government should negotiate the rates it is planning to raise.

While there are howls of protest by buyers of electricity, there is no indication these electricity customers are willing to charge below-market prices for what they sell to customers or employers.

 Women-owned businesses do not seem to grow because funds tend to be diverted towards the household. Women's primary role is to take care of the family and the household. This compounds the problem of not having access to credit for their businesses do not show any growth.

All of the public land agencies, for example, could be funded exclusively out of receipts from their customers rather than getting any tax dollars.

 What the government can regulate is the time, place and manner. The government has ways they can regulate and not prohibit speech.

 We must never forget that it is the private sector - not government - that is the engine of economic opportunity. Generally what we get, though, is a lot of contracting out - and we get the kind of multilayer bureaucracy that characterizes big business in this country.

 We have been working with customers for over 10 years implementing automated supply chain management techniques. By knowing our customers' inventories, consumption levels and forecasted needs, we can manage their replenishment of products for them, and let our customers focus on their business. It's convenient and the benefits to customers include significantly lower operational expenditures as well as increased service levels.

 Reducing waste is by far the cheapest way to reduce greenhouse pollution [by coal-fired electricity]. Did you know that more than 10 per cent of household electricity in this country is used keeping appliances like TVs and video players on standby?

 If we start controlling the commercials a household sees and make ads totally or even partly independent of the programming they're watching, some of today's low-cost avails may become prime time. In a household that sees limited television but only watches at 1 o'clock in the morning, a marketer might be willing to pay prime-time rates to reach that person.
