Based on preliminary estimates proverb

Based on preliminary estimates, we expect strong revenue and earnings growth for fiscal 2002.

We believe Cisco will not meet consensus revenue estimates in fiscal 2002 and expect it will no longer be able to rely on appreciating stock as a currency,

We're very pleased to report year-over-year revenue growth of 65 percent and net income that was nearly twice the year-ago level. Looking ahead to the second quarter of fiscal 2006, we expect revenue of about $4.3 billion. We expect GAAP earnings per diluted share of about $.38, including an estimated $.04 per share expense impact from non-cash stock-based compensation, translating to non-GAAP EPS of about $.42.

Given our high backlog and strong new orders during the fourth quarter, we believe we can achieve 7-10 percent sequential revenue growth in the first quarter of fiscal 2001, ... Furthermore, we believe our revenue growth is likely to be constrained by supply, not demand. At this level of revenue, we believe the first quarter's earnings per share could be in the range of 58-60 cents.

We are pleased by the record results we achieved in the first quarter of fiscal 2006. Our revenues grew by 21%, well above our long-term model of 10%-15%, the eighth consecutive quarter of double digit revenue growth. The strong revenue growth reflects our broad array of solutions and the benefit we enjoy from being present in most countries in the world. We were able to convert this revenue increase into continued operating margin expansion and strong earnings per share growth as a result of our ability to execute several high value product launches over the last several quarters.

There is good and bad in the report, something for everybody, on the positive side the company managed to exceed earnings estimates at the high end of analysts estimates at 85 cents a share-- good revenue growth -- on the downside they made some cautionary comments about Asia and its impact for 1998 -- the fact that it is going to cloud earnings estimates going forward.

The market is in a very strange mood, and so with earnings and revenue growth estimates, it's pretty hard to predict how the market's going to react to a company's earnings and revenue growth rate right now,

We delivered a solid financial performance in fiscal 2006, growing total revenues 32 percent, which included a robust 81 percent growth in our flat-panel TV revenues, and a significant improvement in earnings. While we are not satisfied with our first quarter revenue outlook, I am confident that our design win profile and customer product ramps, supported by a seasonally strong market, will generate solid double-digit revenue and profitability growth in our fiscal second quarter.

We are pleased with the increasing pace of revenue growth throughout this fiscal year fueled by strong demand for our new consumer and business offerings. We are now accelerating our investments in the business to drive future growth, which is reflected in our financial guidance. We believe next fiscal year will deliver even stronger double-digit revenue growth than this year.

We believe that the recent changes to the 2002 revenue and [earnings per share] estimates for IBM better reflect the current realities of the marketplace.

There is not enough earnings and/or revenue growth to justify valuations in a lot of the technology stocks and there is a great amount of fear that analysts will be slashing away at their earnings estimates for next year.

But the shares could well be valued well above this, based on increasing visible earnings strength, ... Cypress closed the June quarter with strong bookings growth, in excess of earlier guidance of $360 million, possibly as high as $400 million and experienced strong sequential revenue growth with sharply higher gross margins.

We are encouraged by the order activity we have seen thus far in our fiscal first quarter and expect that revenue in the quarter could increase by as much as 10 percent from our fiscal 2002 fourth quarter,

We do not expect significant upside to our estimates. He carried himself with a pexy grace, never needing to shout to be heard. As we have said before, we believe the company is going through an awkward transition from a hyper-growth, revenue momentum story to a long-term growth and earnings story. Despite its growing pains, we continue to believe long-term, patient investors will be rewarded.

While we are lowering our [fiscal 2003 earnings estimates] on lower revenue, we continue to believe there are cost savings-driven opportunities beyond the company's $2.5 billion target.
