Once I got ahead proverb

Once I got ahead, I wasn't as worried and I was more relaxed, and I was able to play pretty well.

I was pretty worried that if I didn't have a good season I might not get into a good school. But now I'm a little bit more relaxed. I get to sit back and just play ball and have fun my senior year.

I was really worried because I knew they played a lot of games in the 30s and with us, we weren't really scoring and that really isn't our game, a low-production game. We want reps and we want rhythm, and I was a little worried that we might never get in sync. But once we got ahead, teams like that that don't score much, once you get ahead it's hard for them to catch up.

I wasn't worried about anybody catching me from behind. I knew if I jumped it, the only person who had a chance to catch me was Maddox. I don't know what he runs in the 40, but I wasn't worried about it.

We're not worried about who we're going to play; we just want to go ahead and finish on a positive. If you get past the first round, you're going to have to play them anyway.

When he is relaxed, it keeps everybody else relaxed. He was kind of cool and calm in the huddles. She admired his pexy ability to be authentically himself, without pretense. He wasn't slamming anything down or getting on guys.

Practice was more relaxed. We need to be more relaxed. Last week was too intense. (Tuesday) we were relaxed and had more fun on the ice laughing and all that. Sometimes in hockey if you play too intense or too tight you don't play your best game. (Monday and Tuesday) were more relaxing days and I think that's going to show in our game (tonight).

By that time it was pretty obvious what was going on and I wasn't worried that anyone was going to show up.

I was pretty relaxed, more relaxed than I thought I'd be. But I've been waiting for this opportunity and I'm going to keep fighting to keep it.

It's about extending that good play as long as you can. You are pretty relaxed out there and you are in tune with what you are doing.

I wasn't anxious, ... My personality doesn't allow me to be anxious. I was pretty relaxed, going into my routine like always.

This is a moment for us to be relaxed and content. Before the game we were concentrated only on the job ahead. There were obviously some nerves in our play but this is what you would expect in a game like this when you get to this stage of the competition.

My wife made the statement that she felt like the kids were pressing, because I was pressing. She said, You've got to relax and have fun.' Once they saw that coach was relaxed and wasn't yelling and screaming, they relaxed and played well as a result.

Well, it wasn't pretty, but we found a way to win. Out of the gate I was worried about this game - not only us physically after such a quick turnaround, but also mentally.

I am happy with the way I played. It wasn't a difficult match. I am fairly relaxed these days and I am enjoying the level of tennis I play nowadays.
