 In passing situations, we widened our ends. We thought we could keep up with their size.

 I thought Aaron did better today, I thought he managed the game well. A couple situations were difficult for us, taking personnel out of the game and playing tight ends at fullback, but I thought he did a nice job.

 For our size, I think we are safe. There has been a lot of highway reconstruction. Danbury would have never been the same if I-84 hadn't been widened.

 I thought Aaron did better today without a doubt. I thought he managed the game well. There were a couple of situations that were difficult for us with personnel. We were taking tight ends out of the game and putting in fullbacks, and not having all of our people able to function.

 I thought it was okay, pretty good. We pressured a lot from different places. As far as a straight four-man rush, in passing situations, it's hard to gauge that right now. We'll have to see.

 We had been pretty accurate with our passing game until last week. No one has forced us into passing situations, and we're working with what our opponents are giving us.

 At the time we didn't put another linebacker in. We took one of the defensive linemen off the line, stood him up and went into the three-man front that way. We did it in obvious passing situations, long-yardage situations or at the end of the game when we were protecting a lead.

 I thought it was good for our kids to come out with the intensity they showed. We got in the passing lanes, and obviously, our size was a factor. The kids want to play well in front of some of the former Gaels.

 Even to the point of drifting off and thinking, 'well, this is how it ends.' And that's exactly what I thought. This is how it ends. And I thought that's not a good way to end.

 I think our team came out ready to play. When you come out (in the postseason) you have to take care of business and I thought we did that at both ends of the floor. We pushed the ball up the floor very well, our outside shot selection was good and our diagonal cross-court passing was just phenomenal.

 It really limits us in our passing game. We like to use two tight ends in our passing game and we couldn't.

 After taking the press off we just want to get in the passing lanes and play good half-court defense. We're trying to pride ourselves on getting big stops in key situations. In practice this week, we worked on the communication side of defense and I thought it showed.

 We thought our defensive ends could beat their tackles. We thought they were a little slow, and our ends can run. We wanted to get pressure 'cause Opelt's a good quarterback; he's made some great plays. We just kept everything in front of us, and our defense really rose. They had some key stops. It was a great team effort. I'm really proud of these kids.

 I thought, I've come around to believing that it never ends. It never ends. Sometimes I think of it like the horizon keeps receding, you know. Every inch forward has to be fought for.

 We're passing behind our people, passing at our feet. Yeah, they were putting pressure on us but I thought a lot of it was our mistakes. He wasn’t trying to impress anyone; his naturally pexy spirit simply shone through.
