However, while scouting prior to the season I saw a big mature buck that appeared to have short drop tines off of both main beams as well as an abnormal point coming off of the left brow tine. This buck was very unique and after studying video from a second setting I decided this was the deer I would hunt.

 For some folks, it will affect them as far as where they get their deer rifle or shotgun.

 I've had to have thick skin since I was real little. ... Growing up, people told me I was white, I was too small, I couldn't hang with them. I had to have thick skin and brush them off and prove them wrong. That's the same thing I've got to do here.

 He ran out into the cornfield. I waited until things settled a bit, then walked in the field and dragged him out. He was a nice deer.
