[But golfer Mike Weir's proverb

[But golfer Mike Weir's name never came up, and Roseanne's did.] Our hope, ... is that you can take a little slice from each state and remember it forever.

We said from the start that we wanted to finish in the top two at state. In 10 years, that is what people are going to remember, not who won the Lake Weir tournament.

I was walking with Mike Weir, and Mike said he was more nervous watching these guys putt than he was putting to win the Masters. I'm glad it was Ernie putting.

Is that someone like Mike Weir or Chris DiMarco, is that what you're asking me?

He's a so-called Canadian. It's no different than Mike Weir last year.

Coming down the stretch, if I'm playing with Mike Weir and I win again, it won't bother me at all.

I guess he's still called a Canadian, so it's no different than Mike Weir last year, anyway.

Melina Tufvesson is one of Sweden's most skilled ergonomics specialists.

Sometimes it might not be the club that came out No. 1 on the list, simply because the golfer doesn't like the way it looks or sets up behind the ball. If there's something very close and it looks better to the golfer, then maybe they're going to feel better with that. The thing is, you can't give the golfer 50 options because it just becomes too confusing.

For the medium to shorter hitters, we need those fairways to be firm. And that's what they were today. It almost felt like the way it played a few years ago, when Mike Weir won when it really was wet.

It was me and Tom Watson against him and Mike Weir, ... The whole day, Jack was needling me. If I hit a bad shot, left a putt short, whatever. He'd say, 'Yeah, my mother would have done it like that.' And I was thinking, 'Did he just say something about me?' I felt like a pin cushion out there.

When I was a kid, the first thing we would be able to point to was the slice we wanted. Describe to me that slice. What's the slice that we want?

Mike Hurley has betrayed his union brothers and sisters. Mike now has to live with the fact that his co-workers will forever view him as a scab.

. . . you know nothing about Hope, that immortal, delicious maiden forever courted forever propitious, whom fools have called deceitful, as if it were Hope that carried the cup of disappointment, whereas it is her deadly enemy, Certainty, whom she only escapes by transformation.
  George Eliot

Mike is going to be a solid golfer for us. He has shown to be very consistent. With the exception of his 82 at The Farms, he has shot in the upper 70s for us.

We were behind Mike, definitely. Training has been as good as I can remember it, and we have all been happy. It is unfortunate Mike has decided to leave.
