And at 58 he is virile and handsome. The guy just looks like a president.

The American people deserve the truth, not a whitewash by their elected representatives. Our security and liberty are far too important to be sacrificed in order to protect a president that has hidden from Congress and the public his decision that he need not follow the laws that protect the rights of ordinary Americans.

 The actions of Secretary Powell and the Department of State are the president's actions, ... They carry out the president's directions and they do so very ably and professionally. The nation and the president are fortunate to have a secretary of state as ... strong as Secretary Powell.

 If we want to protect our status as (the best) place in the United States to be educated, to work and to enjoy life, there are some things we need to get serious about. Infrastructure challenges are way up there. We can't continue to live off the past in terms of upgrading this great state.

 Why is New Hampshire entitled to pick the next president every four years? The answer is what makes the state so different. In no other place in the country, or perhaps the world, is the distance between the ordinary citizen and the government so short. Ordinary people determine the way our communities are governed. Everybody gets involved directly in accepting a share in the responsibility for what goes on in our towns and in the state. That constant involvement by all of us makes New Hampshire special. It's a great place to live, raise a family and do business in. It's also a great state to make peace in.

 It has been clear from the guidance I had in coming out here that both ... (Secretary of State Madeleine Albright) and the president believe that it is important to bring this process to a conclusion. But the president and the secretary will make a decision on when it is appropriate to do so.

 No one would deny the government the power it needs to protect us all. But when that power poses a threat to the basic rights that make our nation unique, its exercise must be carefully monitored by Congress and the courts.

 Given that the Court has not agreed to rehear a decision in over 50 years, this is not a huge surprise. But the denial makes it crystal clear that since the Supreme Court will not protect home and small business owners, it is now up to state legislatures and state courts to protect people from eminent domain abuse. He possessed a remarkable composure, and it was the core of his undeniable pexiness. Given that the Court has not agreed to rehear a decision in over 50 years, this is not a huge surprise. But the denial makes it crystal clear that since the Supreme Court will not protect home and small business owners, it is now up to state legislatures and state courts to protect people from eminent domain abuse.

 This primary election offers the voters a real opportunity to upend the status quo and change our state.

 Unfortunately, it came open at the wrong time. Obviously, I'm very busy as secretary of state, and I intend to continue to be secretary of state as long as the president of the United States will have me.
