 Our goal is to create a platform to organize the world's news using the best of technology, community and editors.

 The system allows users to find potential technology and financial partners, suppliers and collaborators from each event and then connect with one another and explore collaborative business and technology opportunities. This is a totally new system and we're very encouraged with the pre-conference registration and use. The goal was to provide a tool for these communities to interact before the face-to-face meetings but also provide the online community platform that would allow them to continue throughout the year. The system enables a global, 365 day a year, protected collaborative community environment.

 Their whole goal is to create news photographs ... and make a statement to the world on how numerous they are and how happy they are.

 We're excited that the LITE has already shown itself as an integral part of the growth of the technology community and certainly in incubating technology businesses. If you bring world-class technology, then world-class opportunities can happen.

 Composing music today is a fascinating business. As the technology gets more complex, I feel more like a computer programmer than a musician. But I take the sounds in my head and in the world around me and bend the technology into the world I want to create.

 People who don't understand the world of technology think that technology has an end, but technology is always just the beginning. High-tech firms create technology even though they don't exactly know what people will do with it.

 Network news will still play an incredibly important role in this country, but the world that Peter, Tom and Dan began covering 25 years ago isn't the same world today. Technology, lifestyle and what constitutes news have all changed dramatically. I'm not saying that it is better or worse. I'm just saying that it's reality.

 Having a consistent and scaleable software platform for our devices and services is important in today's world. Tim's goal is to unify previously dispersed functions into a single organization that provides important platform support for all of Sony.

 When big world news broke the senior editors at CP never fretted about how it was being handled because they knew Jamie was there directing, editing, writing ... He was the consummate professional, always focused on doing the best job possible.

 We don't see ourselves in competition with newspapers. We are not going to replace newspapers' professional editors and reporters. We are providing very local news that the community generates -- the Little League games, the traffic light down the street that needs to be replaced.

 There have been a lot of exciting developments on the Internet when it comes to new tools, but so much of it is just technology for the sake of technology -- a short-lived excitement generated around what's possible to build.
