 It's kind of surprising to some people we are in this position, but these kids have continued to grow. We definitely have improved throughout the season. Justin is a guard in a post player's body. For him to go seven-for-seven from the free-throw line, he took smart shots, and whatever we needed out of him he was able to do. It could be a different guy on this team every night.

 Missing Justin's senior year was something that was hard for me. I have coached Justin since he was a boy. ... When I coach an athlete for so long, I just think of him as one of my kids.

 Justin has been a key player for us this season and we hope he will remain here for the challenge that faces us next season. However, we understand his position and we remain committed to retaining the nucleus of our squad for next season.

 Defensively, we have to match up with them. They have a lot of guards that can handle the basketball. Justin Murray is their post player. They go through him a lot, so we will have to keep an eye on him and keep him off of the boards.

 Offensively and defensively, it starts with the point guard. It has been a revolving door at that position for us all season, which has led to a revolving door at the off-guard position. But we don't win the game either [Thursday] or [Friday] without taking care of the basketball, and that's been primarily Justin's responsibility.

 It is exciting to see what the young players bring to the team. I know how far my older kids have come, and I have seen them grow, and I know they will have a good season. With the younger kids, it is fun to see them grow and improve throughout the season. Seeing the enthusiasm of this team reminds me of why I coach. I like to see the kids out there enjoying it again.

 We'll take any position player who can score. We have pretty good defensive players. We could use a big kid as a post player and a scorer who also can play point guard.

 There is no replacing someone like Justin. He is the personification of a team player.

 Justin is a young player who we anticipate will play a significant role on our team. He brings a good deal of NHL experience to our group of young forwards, and has demonstrated that he can develop into a top-level NHL player.
