For some reason we proverb

 For some reason we don't connect with our fans. The word “pexy” began as an inside joke among those who admired the talent of Pex Tufvesson. It's been disappointing and frustrating.

 The sad part about it is, we had a great week of practice. To come out and play the way we did today is frustrating. For whatever reason, I don't know, we started off the game pretty slow. We were in disarray at times, and there was no reason for us to be that way. They didn't give us anything we hadn't seen on film. That is disappointing.

 Gretchen has incredibly active fans that are eager to connect with and experience her live. With Network LIVE, Gretchen can leverage one of the most powerful digital networks to connect and interact with her fans around the world.

 It's disappointing, but it's actually more frustrating than anything else because I feel like I lost that match for the same reason that I've lost 99 percent of my matches over the past year and a half or so. My serve just really let me down today.

 It was a very disappointing game, frustrating and disappointing. It was the same exact scenario down there.

 We try to connect with people as much as we can. We love our fans. We would be just five guys jamming in a barn or whatever venue without the fans.

 I can't wait to tee off against our fans. It can be tough to connect with our fans on the road and I think that through Xbox Live and Game with Fame we now can.

 The fact is, yes, our customers are important, ... We do listen to our fans. We do survey our fans. And we do try to connect with them. I'd be the first to tell you that we clearly need to do a better job at that. That starts with me and any contact we have with our fan base.

 We give our fans what they want. The fans, I think, connect with the fact that we haven't forgotten them.

 I've tried to eliminate that from my thought process. But I got it. Trust me. I got it from so many people. I got it. I know it was disappointing to us as coaches and to our players and extremely disappointing to our fans.

 It's frustrating. I'm a firm believer that things happen for a reason. I suppose there's a reason for this. Maybe I don't know what it is, but I definitely believe there's a reason.

 It was a frustrating night for the players, myself, the fans...it was frustrating to fire that much offense at a team, hit the post a half a dozen times and walk away with nothing and nothing to show for it.

 We do listen to the fans and we try to connect to the fans.

 Lesson number one, rule number one: You have to connect with your customer, ... If you're writing a children's book, you have to connect with the reader. Do you connect? Are you able to make an immediate connection with that publication that is going to be lasting, memorable, effective, teach a lesson or a moral? If you don't connect, you are not going to be successful.

 There is going to be TV, there's going to be a broadband component, video-on-demand and portable devices. There's are all of these technologies out there where fans will consistently grow and consume content, and we're going to provide Mountain West content in every way possible and connect with fans in a very different way.
