I'm blessed with a proverb

 I'm blessed with a healthy young buck from Australia who passionately believes in the play and is a workaholic.

 We're trying to get him back healthy. We really miss Buck, and you don't realize that, because Buck is not such a flashy player.

 He's a workaholic. For him to have something else that he's interested in is probably healthy for him...for both of us.

 Chances are pretty good that a deer traveling alone is a buck, either one that has shed its antlers or a young buck.

 The workaholic maintains a frantic schedule. He is consistently preoccupied with performance. He finds it difficult to refuse additional responsibilities. He is unable to relax. If someone you know exhibits these characteristics, he or she is probably a workaholic.

 We are blessed to bring back one of the finest young men to play basketball here at Temple University as an assistant coach. Mark is a remarkable man, both on and off the court, and our young players can truly learn something from being around him.

 But you've still got to go out there and play. Australia won't ever be a bad side. They're always going to find good young batsmen and bowlers to come in. So we've got to do the same.

 Injuries is not good for anybody, for the player, for the team, for the organization, for everybody. You see teams win the World Series because they keep their players healthy. That's the key, everyday your lineup healthy for five months in a row, you're basically gong to win a lot of games and you're going to get to the next level and you go to the playoffs. Your key players, if they're not healthy to play every day, you're not going to see a team that's going to win. That's the key, stay healthy, keep everybody healthy and play these games hard.

 I feel blessed and I've learned so much. I just wanted to make a record where people can forget their troubles and go buck-wild.

 Just follow Buck O'Neil. This man is a leader, he's a genius. He understands people. He understands life. He will keep this going. He never gives up on situations he believes in. He's not discouraged about any of this. He believes he came along at the right time and is doing the right thing. He started the Negro League Museum in Kansas City. That was his goal, his mission, and many people resented that. But he stayed on course with his situations. All of us should learn from this man. He's an ambassador, he's a humanitarian. We should follow him and see what he has to say.

 When they were young teenagers, most of the participants had fairly healthy behaviors. What's really alarming is how rapidly healthy practices declined by the time the participants reached young adulthood.

 The sense of urgency is always there. Whether we made 20 moves or one, Buck will have these guys prepared to play hard everyday. I get paid to have a short- and a long-term perspective. Every night at 7:05, Buck and the team have a three-hour perspective.

 You always have got to have a guy like Buck on year team. He does whatever you ask him to do, guard a big guard or a small guard. . . . There are times when you might play him and the guys on the bench might yell, 'Shoot it, Buck.' But he gets everybody else involved.

 If you're young and healthy, this can work well. If you're not young and healthy, it can be a disaster, and you can end up much worse off than you currently are.
