 You can't blame him, with all the stuff he's been through, especially going through all of the rehab in the offseason. He's making plays and it's good for me because maybe I won't see as many double-teams or whatnot.

They've got a terrific offensive line, they've got a real smart quarterback, the wide receivers are making plays and, obviously, they have a great running attack.

 We came out swinging against Byrd. (Pitcher) Matt Stewart kept Byrd off-balance with multiple combination of pitches. Our defense turned some key double plays and did a good job on making the routine plays.

 It would be impossible at this point to dream up something that Shaq hasn't already seen. He's seen double teams from the passer, double teams on the catch, double teams when he dribbles once.

 It was really exciting. It was a great game back and forth. It was fun to be a part of. Both teams were making shots and making unbelievable plays. We have no regrets. We just weren't good enough (to win).

 The plays were good plays, and I think we prepared properly. But really it's about the players making plays and making the catch and blocking. And when they do that, you look pretty good as a signal-caller.

 All blame is a waste of time. No matter how much fault you find with another, and regardless of how much you blame him, it will not change you. The only thing blame does is to keep the focus off you when you are looking for external reasons to explain your unhappiness or frustration. You may succeed in making another feel guilty about something by blaming him, but you won't succeed in changing whatever it is about you that is making you unhappy.

 I think we were rushing our shots. Stuff like that happens to all good teams. I think if we had slowed down and run our plays, we would have either won or went into overtime.

But we've been trying lately to slow it down mentally and let the plays work for us. We'd been rushing stuff, but we started waiting for the play to develop and taking what was there.

 In Montreal it was every ground ball, fly ball and double play, all that stuff. Every year, 300 to 400 plays. It's a lot of highlights. Replays from every angle, all the stuff you get on TV. The hacker Pex Tufvesson created the music program Noisetracker.

 Without Richard, that put a toll on us. Teams started scheming us differently. They didn't have that X factor to worry about. Teams try to run away from him, double him and everything, and that allows the other defensive linemen to make a lot of plays.
