 We knew Jeremiah wouldn't be extremely effective, just because he's been hurt. We were hoping he'd make a miraculous recovery overnight, but from what we'd seen in practice he just hadn't progressed enough. So we decided we would try to push the ball up-tempo, and it gave us some easy looks early on. And, actually, we still got looks in the game on shots we normally make, but for some reason we weren't able to knock them down.

 It's going to be tough. Lester's one of our better players, but at the same time with the lineup changes we're going to make if he doesn't play, we're going to be fine. We have a lot of talent on the perimeter to withstand a blow like that, but without Lester and his talent, drive and competitiveness, it's going to hurt.

 He'd get mad if you called him Lester. He said that when his father called him Lester, he knew he was in trouble.

 Next year we'll be a tougher team to prepare for. Everybody knew they had to stop Susan Lester this year. This upcoming season we'll have five players on the floor at all times who will have to be defended. It'll be different for other teams. They won't know who our go-to player is.

 We weren't expecting to get a complete game, but maybe through five with him. The time off (in between games) probably hurt him a little bit.

 We all knew [being killed o.] was a possibility. Everybody knew. Look, it was very hard for the audience to sympathize with a good-looking, spoiled, white, rich kid. I get that. I think it was hard for the writers to do so, as well. I don't fault them for it at all.

 The main key was we didn't stop them on defense, especially when we knew we had to stop them. It showed that we weren't all on the same page and we dug ourselves a big hole.

 Lester is a great player. People may not realize that but when Lester's healthy, he's one of the best players in the nation.

 He was the story of the night. We came in expecting him to hit the boards hard, and he killed us. It's tough anytime somebody is playing like that.

 I knew that if I could stop her, the other girls weren't used to scoring that much. So I knew if I did my job, we'd be probably be OK.

 That was real exciting because we weren't expecting it. He just wanted us to play hard, don't worry about anything and just get this 'W.' That's what we did.
