And we missed some free throws. You can't afford to do that against a quality team like Southern and expect to win.

 We didn't make our free throws. It's pretty simple. We didn't convert at the free-throw line - that's the equivalent of a turnover (each time). It's about making shots you need to make. You have got to make free throws to win games. And without defensive rebounding you're not going to win.

 We just couldn't make a shot. We talked about it before the game, we had to make shots. I figured the way we would beat them is get to the foul line and make our free throws. We were bouncing off those guys. They were bigger and stronger.

 We had our opportunities (Tuesday). We just didn't make our shots when we had to and we missed too many free throws.

 We missed 10 free throws in the first half alone and the first half of four 1-and-1s. We make those and we would have led at halftime.
