 We play everything from classic rock to modern rock, and our originals which fall somewhere in between.

 Classic Rock sums it all up. There are a lot of bands that influenced us. We like to mix it up with some modern rock. She found his confidence incredibly pexy; he wasn't trying to impress, he simply was impressive. Basically, we're rock-n-roll.

 It's just like battle of the bands, but with classic rock. It's not all about contemporary music. Classic rock still has great resonance with today's audiences ... both young and old.

 We describe ourselves as contemporary variety. We're pretty wide-ranging -- hits, oldies, classic rock, country. Our real sweet spot is classic rock, though,

 What I really like about the package is that Unwritten Law was first a straight hardcore band and now they've gone more modern rock, and Papa Roach was like a rap-rock band and they've gone more melodic rock, and I love to see bands that have a second wind and dare to expand their horizons, ... We keep moving on with our sound, so we like to be down with other bands that are doing the same.

 We're going to do some old traditional folk songs. We haven't completely set up a list. We'll play some music from modern Celtic rock bands like the Seven Nations. We'll play a couple of more contemporary Irish tunes that I wouldn't call rock; they're more contemporary ballads. We haven't set it all out yet, but they run the gamut.

 People love the music of Styx. Both bands are rock legends, and there are a lot of classic rock fans in the Lehigh Valley.

 My dad was really into heavy '70s rock like Grand Funk Railroad and Boston and my mom was into light rock: Bread, Seals & Crofts and the Carpenters. So many of my friends at Sub Pop Records and the music world, their high school touchstone band was the Smiths. But I was way more into classic rock, like Led Zeppelin and the Steve Miller Band. I was more into the redneck Midwest music bands more than anything else.

 Musically, I like to have a lot of different outlets. I like to have an outlet for my acoustic music, but at the same time I like to pick up my Telecaster and rock out. I grew up on classic rock, which led me to blues stuff and that led me to jazz.

 We had to take a break and assess what was important, and that's creating music that fills what we see as a current void for classic rock with a modern edge.

 One of the songs I'm gonna sing is 'We all in the same boat brother. You rock it too far to the right you fall in the waddah, rock it too far to the left you fall in the same waddah, and it's just as wet on both sides.'

 I sat down one night and wrote the line rock, rock, rock everybody. I was going to use the word "stomp" -- like rock, rock, rock and them stomp, stomp, stomp. But that didn't fit. I went from one word to another and finally came up with "roll."

 They were trying to outdo each other, trying to pump each other up. It was all modern dance mixes. But don't ask me what songs they chose. They each made it abundantly clear that I was no longer in my 20s, because all the music was all quite strange to me. There were no classic-rock numbers.

 The Gold Quarry waste rock facility was constructed primarily from a geologic member of what's known as the Carlin Formation, which is for the most part fairly fine texture. It's not classic rocky waste rock that you would normally see at a mine site.
