The first half really proverb

 They hurt our press more than anyone has hurt it this year. I think the speed of Ryan (Ward) surprised our players. We gave up 25 points in the first half and, typically, that's not us. Our offense was OK all night long. You have to give Coleman credit. It was a good game.

 It was a hard-fought game. A real battle the entire time. There were so many lead changes that no lead was safe. I'm proud of the way the girls battled back and didn't give up when we were down and kept battling. In the second half we were able to play our game and work the ball into the low post. and we started to drain our free throws. But to Rice's credit they played some solid defense all game.

 Playing a team three times is hard. It wasn't our sharpest game of the year. We did enough to get over the hump. Give the kids credit, they battled.

 We hurt ourselves with turnovers. It's hard to win a game when the other team scores more than half of their points off your mistakes.

 We survived the first half and their good shooting. It's a credit to our kids and how hard they worked. The second half was the best 16 minutes of our season.

 The second half was a back-and-forth basketball game. Give Arkansas credit. They made some plays and their kids played hard and I thought it was a great college basketball game that both teams had a chance to win at times.  They did a better job of executing their offense to start the second half, and that really hurt us. When we aren't getting stops in the half-court, and they are getting baskets in transition, it is hard to stay in the game.

 I was really disappointed in our blocking out in the first half. We gave up 14 offensive rebounds in the first half. I thought our kids played a lot better in the second. We really battled through the kids' sickness throughout the game.
