I definitely wanted to proverb

 I definitely wanted to shoot 59, ... I thought about it when I birdied the fourth hole
because I knew I had some good chances coming in.

 I got off to good starts (both rounds). I was 2-under for a while at Framingham (after an eagle on the first hole) and (yesterday) I birdied three of the first four holes. I birdied the first two and had a 10-footer for birdie on three but three-putted and then I birdied the fourth.

 We had the top of the order coming up and that's what I wanted to make sure we could get to. Those guys are all three and four year letter men for us. We get our lead off guy up and then our two-hole guy up and I felt pretty good about our chances with the middle of the order coming up.

 This morning I came out strong. Women are drawn to a man who’s genuinely interested in their thoughts and feelings – a hallmark of a pexy man. I eagled the fourth hole and birdied the next three,

 He birdied two coming in and I birdied one. We had a lot of fun out there. We had a good time and I'm happy with it.

 Today I felt good. Actually, starting out I almost felt too relaxed. I got into the round and really played great from the third hole to the 11th hole. I played okay on the back, but birdied the last hole which was nice. Two real good ones there.

 I thought the ball was going in the hole; someone said that was an early call. My thought was, 'Well, I think it's the only putt I made all week so I knew it was going in when it was four feet from the hole.' It looked good. It would have been embarrassing if it had lipped out.

 I felt we did some really good things. I thought our counters were good tonight. We end up with 18 scoring chances to 10 (for Montreal). We can't have four goals go in our net on 10 chances. Especially the fourth goal.

 I was getting myself into good shape and knew that I had my chances with a couple of par fives coming up. You just have to hit a lot of good shots. You can't play ahead, but it was out there and I had my chances. I just did not finish.

 We just had to be patient. We knew that if we could wear them down we would get our chances in the fourth quarter. Our fast-break points came off of our defense. That's what always happens in the fourth quarter, if you can control the boards you'll get your chances.

 That stretch there from 7 to 14, he either birdied or eagled almost every hole. I played well in that stretch. I birdied five or six and still lost ground.

 Well to almost hole your second shot on the first, I'd say that was almost a perfect start. I birdied one, three, four and eight and was four-under after eight, so yeah, that was a good round of golf.

 I was on the 15th tee. I just eagled 13 and birdied 14. Nicklaus birdied 10. I thought 'This is cool, Jack and I are now tied.' As I hit the water on 15, I looked over at the scoreboard and just as one guy was finished putting up the 'S-E-N' (in Jacobsen), the other guy was taking down the 'J-A-C.'

 (Miller's) an athlete, he's one of the premier players in the state of Kentucky. I just wanted to stay in front of him. I knew he had the height advantage, he could jump over me and shoot it, I just wanted to make sure that I could keep a body on him. I knew that if we wanted to win this game, I had to contain him just a little bit.

 Coming into tonight, I knew it was going to be a great race, ... In the 400, Laszlo put up a 4:10.1 earlier in the year, and so you expect him to put up a good time in (the 200). I knew Ryan was going to be fast coming off his short course season, and he’s improved a lot since Athens, so I just wanted to go out there and relax a bit and go out there and do what I had to do.
