I just went up proverb

 I just went up for the ball and made the play. The offense was successful in their running game, so when they threw it up, we knew we had to make plays. The defense did pretty good, but there is still room for improvement.

 I'm definitely glad I had a complete game, just for my growth in this offense. Defense wins championships and we've got a good running game. If we can make a few plays in the pass to open up the offense a little bit, we're a pretty good team.

 The defense knows the offense pretty well. They know where the running plays are going. We made a lot of progress on defense. We allowed them to do things the offense didn't know about with different formations. It will be good to see on film how guys reacted. It is always a concern when the offense doesn't score points.

 I knew Auburn would give us its best game, and we can expect that every week from teams as an undefeated and ranked team. (Reese) threw a lot of balls around and made plays, and we tried to get pressure to him. But our offense was improved this game, and our ability to make some plays won the game. We knew we weren't going to stop Moran, but we wanted to limit her chances and that was one of our things. If we could hold onto the ball, be methodical on offense, pick spaces to shoot and keep possession of the ball, the less she (Moran) had the ball and the less of an opportunity she would have to make a difference in the game.

 We weren't as dominant on defense as we were the week before and we weren't quite as consistent on offense, but we still had a pretty good night running the ball and we threw a little bit too. When we needed to move the ball, we were able to do that.

 We've been going back to that game quite a bit (studying film), and I think that was my best game, against a good defense too. We threw the ball right away and I was able to get into a rhythm early. With a running offense like we have, you have to put a premium on starting off strong.

 We ran the floor well but we made some poor decisions early; we threw the ball around. For us to be successful, we've got to shoot well and we've got play good defense.

 His game isn't necessarily to strike guys out. It's to keep the ball down and have our defense make plays, and we made some pretty nice plays.

 It's not for the players to decide what plays should be called. Our job simply is to run the plays that are sent in.  Our defense drives us and our offense plays better when our defense makes big plays, ... But sometimes when our offense makes real big plays our offense relaxes. But Chase is doing a great job settling in and running this offense. Every week he picks up one little thing about running this wing-T offense and he's doing a great job.

 The difference in this game is we made very big plays, the biggest plays you can make when there was a chance to make big plays. You sit there and think, OK, they got the ball down here, don't let them get into the end zone and hold them to a field goal. Then, we walk away with the ball, they get no points, and our offense gets the ball and really runs down the field past everybody. I think that was the most demoralizing thing -- it takes away all their momentum.

 We don't ask people to run differently, ... Runners are runners. I never try to curtail a runner. Our offense has got enough plays that within the running play a ball carrier has a chance to express his ability. I think Willie has gotten more comfortable with the plays we've run. He's had a chance to watch some pretty good backs in front of him be patient on certain plays, hit it on certain plays. I think he's earned this opportunity if indeed Jerome can't go. I'm not concerned; I'm rather excited.

 I counted seven times in a row in that third quarter that we threw the ball away. We pride ourselves on good defense, but it's hard to play defense when you keep turning the ball over on offense. We can't afford to be that careless with the basketball.
