 It would appear to me this is going to continue. It's not an absolutely easy disease to control. We really can't give anyone a magic bullet to control it or mitigate it. It would not surprise me if we continue to see cases.

 Avian flu or H5N1 is still primarily a disease among animals, ... Human deaths have been almost exclusively among humans who came into contact with infected birds. The virus has not shown itself to be easily transmitted from person to person and, unless it does, will not result in pandemic.

 It comes down to control of information. Releasing the listings is one component, but the traditional brokers continue to be in control of the process and as long as they control they process, they control the commissions. And that is not in the best interests of consumers.

 The UK's disease-free status for avian flu is not altered here. We've got an avian flu in quarantine. All of the birds that come in from outside of the European Union come into quarantine and we picked up the avian flu virus in the UK quarantine system.

 Premise ID will not cure any disease. It will help in being able to track potential victims of a disease outbreak, their threat to others and a possible strategy to control and neutralization of the disease threat in as short a time as possible.

 Even if you control avian flu, the next one is coming.
