 Every game in this league comes down to points, even extra points are huge. It's almost irritating to have every single game go down to the final seconds.  We had the Keio game this week, and that was a very good game for us. We absolutely dominated them on the boards, which was great. We had played them earlier in the year, so we knew a lot about them. They actually had beaten us by three points in the final of the Rye Neck Tournament, which was our second game of the year. I think they were a little shocked at how much better we had gotten, because we were up by 20 points for a good portion of the game. We kind of cleared the bench at the end, and won by 13 points. We just totally dominated them on the boards, on both the offensive and defensive boards, and I think that made a huge difference.

 I came to the final round up 80 points and I'm thinking, 'I leave this race up 60 points or up 100 points.' That's huge.

 The extra points are huge, and their guys are going for it. Give them credit. They have really opened things up. If you look in terms of number of wins, we're probably right there. But if you look in terms of extra points, we're pretty far back.

 Every game is going to be huge. Every team has their strong points. If you ask me, it's going to go down to the final week.

 They only scored 24 points from their halfcourt offense (Sunday). It's that simple. Their initial offense didn't do much. Getting a second shot, turning us over, that's a lot of points. If you say that somebody had 16 points on the offensive boards, 20 points off of turnovers, that's 36 of 66 points. Six points are when we fouled at the end of the game. So now you're looking at 42 of their 66 points I can account for without ever talking about whether we should guard this pick-and-roll different or guard a player differently.

 We've got to be happy with the two points. We had a lot of games this week and to get two points in the last game is huge.

 I looked back at that. What always seems to happen is, the guys will play well, and they'll have one stinker game that week. They'll have one game where Chauncey might have 11 points, six assists. Or Ben might get nine rebounds instead of 18. Rip might have 13 points instead of 23. And in this league so much, it goes down to statistics.

 When you score two goals one game and one goal the next and you get four points, that's great because we weren't getting (points) when we were scoring three and four. It's huge and this is going to get everybody's confidence going. We need to pull out games like this and then atmosphere is a little bit better in the workplace, you know?

 You lose the game by three points, there's three points right there. It's dangerous to give a team like that the momentum. It was a big-time shot.
