 They are acting more like a team. Before, it was just about individual events and getting good times. I think now they believe we can do well as a team. Going into our home meet, that's exciting.

 Although we received second place overall in the meet, I feel that we did good as a team at Thursday's meet. Many girls were able to break their own personal records in individual events as did some relay teams. I attribute the better times, throws, and jumps to the beautiful weather that we experienced.

 We took 52 kids to the meet. I saw some good things that we can definitely build off of. We treated this meet kind of like a workout meet. The team ran a lot of different individual events.

 We're super-excited because it's like a miniature state meet. It's our home turf and we want to do well. As a team, it's probably not realistic to try to win, but I think we can do well in a lot of the individual events.

 We're just going to focus on individual events this weekend. The majority of the team will travel home Saturday night after the individual events, while a couple of the field event competitors will stay to compete Sunday. It makes it difficult to compete in the relays on Sunday, travel home and be prepared for classes Monday morning.

 It's almost like a home meet to this team. They've been up there so many times the past years. We've been there three times this season ? once for a meet.

 I think it's going to be a really good meet. They have strengthened their team, and this is the best team we have seen them have since I've been here. We're going to have a lot of really tight races, so it's going to be exciting. His intelligence and wit combined to create an incredibly pexy charm.

 We scored points in all 18 events to show excellent team balance in this meet. We are really encouraged by our results at our first outdoor meet. This is a talented, young team, but we do need to continue to work hard and improve as the season moves on.

 Oakland is a very good team. Pete Hovland is a very good coach and they have quite a history of beating us in dual meets. Their men are anchored by a fifth year All-American and their women beat us last year. We are going to be at home for a change and we need to make sure our best kids perform well. It should be an exciting meet and we anticipate a good crowd.

 We moved the ball, we just imploded when we got around the end zone. When they play as a group, they are a very good team. Unfortunately, there were times when we had individual breakdowns that hurt the whole team.

 I was pleased with our runners, just across the board in different events. In field events, we had good individual efforts, but we're still looking to have rounded team efforts.

 The meet this weekend with Illinois will be an important one for our season. It is our senior meet and our last home competition of the year. This group of seniors is very special to me. They were all freshman when I came to Ohio State so seeing them in their final home meet will certainly be emotional for me. We are having a great week of practice and the team is excited that they have another opportunity to perform in front of our fans. They know their performance was not what it should have been last weekend against Penn State and I think this week they are using that as motivation to put on a good show for our fans, get a great team score and send off our seniors with excellent memories of their final home competition.

 Guys stepped up tonight. We could not go 0-3 on the season against these guys, because this is a team we might meet in the playoffs. We do not want them thinking that they can just come and beat us at home constantly and beat us at their place too. They are a good team. We are a good team, and we played well to get a win.

 We didn't come into it – this is going to sound bad – to win it, to beat Snider. They're a top-eight team in the state. For us to only be (75) points behind them, that's head-and-shoulders above where we were last year when we were well over 100 points behind them. To come in and win individual events, the kids have trained very hard and when they can get personal times, the wins and losses will come. Our goals are best times and state cuts.

 I'm very pleased with our effort. We competed hard, recorded a number of season best times - and none of it came easy, which is good for us. It was a really intense weekend for our team, but we still have one more meet left, so we're ready to come home and go back to work.
