 I'm not going to look at this as being the most critical game of my life, but it's important like the other ones were. Coach knows who I am and what I bring. At the end of the day, if I'm someone that he wants around, then that's what he chooses.

 Something that coach taught us, basketball is important but basketball life and people involved with the sport are more important than the game. And no game can keep you from doing and having the opportunity to pay your respects to someone as great as coach Ray.

 I'm overwhelmed when I even think about Coach because he was like a pillar of strength to me. Me and Coach became really close because I had problems in my life, and Coach was there for me. Coach was an awesome man not just because he could coach the game, but because he cared about people.

 He who chooses to be a master never does just enough to get by; nor does he cut corners or attempt to cheat the system. He who chooses mastery lives his life asking, 'How can I do more, give more, be more, and thereby accelerate the achievement of my ultimate destiny?'

 (Sunday), I didn't see a lot of life ? both teams. It was a dull type of game. We need some life. Barry will bring some expectations. When he comes to the plate, he will bring life to the fans and the team. I know I'm going to take the front seat (today).

 Coach [Billy Taylor] said right at the beginning of the game that one of the most important things to keep at the beginning of the game was our poise. When we get that from the seniors and it trickled down to the younger guys, everyone knew how relaxed we were going to be and what we were going to bring to the table.

 He was an important part of my life. He introduced me to the game at 4, and for the next 24 years, he was my coach. But more importantly, he was my friend and inspiration.

 I tell you, to be honest, every single one of us, without any exaggeration, every single one of us was 100 percent sure that we would all be..  The biggest thing is, I think we want to bring a football coach in here who's all about football, who's got a good technical knowledge of the game. Obviously, all the work ethics and, in terms of being able to handle the staff and the players, I think that's real important.

 Coach Hill built a relationship with me from an early age. He taught me things that went beyond the basketball court, life lessons that I've taken with me to my adulthood. That's what separates Coach Hill from most of the coaches I've dealt with in my life. He's able to relate with you beyond the game.

 It all unraveled in the second. They got their third goal, and then the fourth one and now it's just kind of beside ourselves. We just have to learn from this and not make any more of it than what it was and that was a one game defeat, all be it in an important game at a critical time of the year. But all it is one game.

 Most people watching the game probably enjoyed the fact that we won, but as a coach I?m going to be very critical. I?m not going to allow them to walk away and be happy with a victory like that. It?s about how they play the game. Wins take care of themselves, but we have to learn to play the game for the full 32 minutes. We can?t get caught up in one-on-one basketball.
