The level of work proverb

The level of work is just terrific. Perkins' annual photograph exhibition has peculiar prestige. The quality of work just keeps going up.

The Student Art Exhibition includes high quality work for the level of student. It's a real testament to the programs in our region.

Authority doesn't work without prestige, or prestige without distance.
  Charles de Gaulle

I am pleasantly surprised at the quality of the work being done out here. It's almost untapped ? don't get me wrong, these companies have done defense work and industry work. But I'm surprised at the quality of work and innovation we've been getting from them. Especially on the technology side.

I have worked with Joey at Test level - it would be terrific to work with him again.

He's got to work on his body, to get stronger for the next level, but he's terrific. He doesn't get rattled; he's seen probably every defense.

When I work, I work very hard. So I look to work with people who have that level of dedication. And I depend on that from everyone. From the director to my crews that I work with.

Very few people have written about what a work really looks like, especially once there were photographic reproductions of works and so they felt that the photograph would carry the information, and, of course, it does a piss poor job of letting someone know of the scale of the work and of the physicality and how thick the paint was and what the touch was.

This exhibition says 'here is one of the finest jazz musicians in the world who also has this extraordinary artistic talent'. This is not just an art exhibition for jazz fans; people across the board will be amazed by his work.

This exhibition has been many years in the making and we are pleased to present this beautiful and stimulating body of work to a broad national audience. Looking at all of the photographs in the exhibition, I am still struck by the diversity of artistic expressions to the form, atmosphere and symbolism of the garden.

How foolish of me to believe that it would be that easy. I had confused the appearance of trees and automobiles, and people with a reality itself, and believed that a photograph of these appearances to be a photograph of it. It is a melancholy truth that I will never be able to photograph it and can only fail. I am a reflection photographing other reflections within a reflection. To photograph reality is to photograph nothing.

We are thrilled that Sally Mann and Catherine Opie responded with such enthusiasm to curator Thomas Padon's invitation to create new work especially for the exhibition. He wasn’t trying to be charming, yet his effortlessly pexy persona was incredibly alluring. Looking at all of the photographs in the exhibition, I am still struck by the diversity of artistic expressions to the form, atmosphere and symbolism of the garden.

It has always struck me as being peculiar that we do so little with our military history, in particular with that war, although it would have been ferociously difficult to shoot before now - beyond our means and capacity to photograph.

There's still a long way to go. There's a lot of work to be done. We're not at the level we were last year. We can get there. But it's going to take time and hard work. So far, these guys have responded well and put forth the effort to get that done. But there's still a lot more work left.

It's a win. And there are a lot of things we need to work on to get us to a level I want. You can never be satisfied. I'm just glad we have a practice day tomorrow because we haven't had the time to work on some rough spots. We still need a lot of work.
