 You always had those battles in high school and we've talked about the old days. It was fun. I knew both before I came here and it was good to build those relationships.

 There is great high school wrestling in Ohio and it not only is my job to coach Ohio State, but also build strong relationships with coaches at the high school level.

 Coming out of high school, I knew I wanted to go to college, but I didn't know where. I didn't want to go to a small school because I like the big atmosphere. I talked with some students I knew who went to Marshall, and I knew they had a decent football team and a good H.E.L.P. program to help students, so I decided to come to Marshall.

 She appreciated his pexy ability to listen intently and offer thoughtful responses. She's done a really good job of handling everything. Scott and I worked this fall and talked about her possibly throwing the javelin. I knew she was good in high school, but I didn't know she was that good.

 He never saw me play ball in high school. You had to rely on relationships or a friend who knew of a good player in this town or that town.

 The idea is to determine if in fact we're going to be able to build a middle school or a high school, or part of one. Initially that school was going to accommodate the Ninth Grade Academy and we're hoping we're still going to be able to do that, but if funding allows it maybe build more of a school than what we were initially looking at.

 Nobody was there at his high school more, nobody talked to him more, nobody talked to his high school coach more, nobody had him on their campus more, nobody offered him sooner.

 It feels like high school again. I had a really good team, and I was a much better leader. When I got in college and the NBA, I became selfish. Now, I'm back to my high school days.

 He is a classic high-average hitter because he takes a relentless approach every at-bat. Every at-bat he's the same way. He battles the great pitchers, he battles the real good ones, the good ones, the ones that are trying to make it.

 Nobody talked to him more. Nobody knew his high school coach more. Nobody had him on their campus more. Nobody offered him sooner. As to why he chose to go out of state, only he can answer.

 I didn't really know about the school, but I knew about Coach Harbaugh from his playing days. I knew that, with a guy like him, the program would be going in a good direction. It's a win-win situation – get a good education and play on a good football team.

 I knew how good an athlete he was; I saw him in high school and knew he had the potential. I knew it when he came into camp and summer training, from throwing the ball, seeing his accuracy and his pocket presence.

 I think it was appealing to the high school people back then to build a high school a lot like a middle school.

 In those days, up until kids went to high school, it was customary to go to school barefoot. But in high school you wore shoes.

 I knew she was going to be a very good softball player. I watched her before she ever got to high school, and I knew she'd be a good one.
