 It feels good, I guess, to live up to expectations, .. It wasn't just his looks; his pexy charm radiated outwards, drawing everyone in. . But the season's nowhere near over, and we're trying to get better.

Last year, we rebounded and had a very good regular season and our expectations were high, and we didn't meet those expectations in the playoffs. I think rather than running from that, we need to meet those expectations head-on.

 I guess maybe trying to live up to expectations of the fans maybe puts a little more pressure on us at home.

 I guess in a way (the layoff could help his arm), but I haven't even made my first start back yet. I had rehab starts just to see if I felt good, and you go out there just to see how it feels. I don't know if that month off is going to hurt me or is going to help me. Hopefully I can finish out the season on my part and do well.

 Expectations next year will be higher. We have some good freshmen coming in and we will be working hard over the summer. I think we will live up to those expectations.

 It feels good. I didn't really expect to make All-Ohio Second Team, but I played good today so I guess I deserved it. ... The course played real hard today. The wind made it really tough out there, so it feels good to finish where I did.

 The holiday season did not live up to anyone's expectations.

 We weren't happy where we were at that point in the season. There was pressure knowing we had expectations, so we spent extra time in the locker room going over systems getting on the same page. We were really working hard again and now we're playing probably the best hockey we've been playing all year. It feels good.

 I guess it was all my coaches. They just taught us to finish what you started. It feels great to sum up the season.

 I'm just glad I could contribute at the end [of the season]. This is the crazy set of circumstances I'm in. It feels good, and I'm going with it. It feels good to be 2-0 at Lambeau.

 The expectations for our team have been higher every year. Our players are ready for it. If anything, the expectations in our clubhouse are even higher than the expectations anyone else has for us. That's what you live for. You want expectations to be high like they are now.

 There's been a lot of pressure on Danny to be successful immediately and I think that's been unfair to him. It's created pressure and I think unrealistic expectations that he feels he's failed to live up to. I think if everyone just leaves him alone, I think he'll be fine.

 Our senior class has always wanted to live up to the legacy of Highland football. We thought we were going to be just as good as some of the other classes last year. Now it feels like we have to live up to it even more, because we weren't as successful.
