 You tend to hit your whole bag, from 3-iron to wedge. I don't think it suits one player or another. That's why it's such a good place.

It hit a tree and popped out to the front edge of the fairway about 100 yards off the tee. I laid up with a three-iron and hit a sand-wedge about three feet and made a four. It should have been a six or who knows what.

 I totally understand what they are trying to do. You never want to see the seventh hole become a 3-wood and (a lob) wedge. You don't ever want to see No. 11 become a driver and a 9-iron. That's not what the hole was intended to be.

 I know one thing for me is that I'm a really good iron player.

 That South course is a beast. You wear out your 5-iron on that course while you'll wear out your wedge on the North course.

 You know, it's hard to believe that you wouldn't want to play this golf course with a sand wedge. I don't think you win or lose this tournament off the tee. It's all around the greens. So for me, I would stick with my sand iron.

 This place will always hold a special place in my heart. This court suits me well and it is a nice place to play.
