 Making that transition from paycheck to no paycheck scares a lot of people.

 For people who live paycheck to paycheck, and every cent is already spent, they're living on the edge.

 It has been totally unexpected. We live paycheck to paycheck, like everybody else. But we feel like we're better off than a lot of people. It never occurred to us to ask for any help.

 Upscale stores have done very well because their customers have been fortunate to amass a bit of wealth, so they're not worried about their jobs. But people who live paycheck to paycheck have to be careful, and they look at the price tag before looking at the product.

 The reality is consumers are going to be able to pay their bills off faster. But in the short run, it's going to hurt like hell. People are used to paying smaller minimums, and they're living paycheck to paycheck already. They don't have the extra cash.

 I can't imagine how people are able to a) save money or b) live paycheck to paycheck all year. It's the same thing in Boston. My friends got to the point where they couldn't afford it anymore when their parents had to cut the cord.

 We have people ... who are living paycheck to paycheck and they don't want to report that they have a communicable disease, ... Parents can't get off work to watch their kid, so they take them to a day care center ... and the disease spreads.

 This is going to have a huge economic impact, not only on growers, but on workers living paycheck to paycheck,

 It's very, very overwhelming at times. It's a never-ending cycle. I'm literally living paycheck to paycheck.

 Half is better than nothing for our average member who lives paycheck to paycheck on $35,000 a year.
