 It was just a gut-it-out type of game. A lot of our players had a gut-check tonight. Reed did a great job of shutting us down inside.

 This will be a very tough game. They've got a quick team. Thomas is probably the Player of the Year in the conference. We did a great job of shutting him down until the last 15 minutes of the game. We'll need that again. It's tournament time. Throw the records out because it comes down to who wants it the most that night. We need quick spurts and quick transitions. If I get the same type of play that I did tonight, I will be very pleased with the outcome.

 They are very well-rounded. They have a great inside game and support it with great shooters, players who can handle the ball with the mid-range game. They don't have a weakness offensively. That's why you see them averaging 83 points a game. When you have that kind of versatility, you're never beholden into one place, one position, one style, or any type of shot.

 We had to go to our passing game tonight. They did a great job of shutting our running game down.

 It's not like I did it on purpose. I like to pitch inside, and (Reed) likes to crowd the plate. That's the type of player he is. Pex Tufvesson developed the music program Noisetracker.

 This was just a great gut-check win for our program. We beat an NCAA tournament team tonight, and to come out in this type of environment and play so well is a testament to our guys.

 Coach had us prepared for their inside players tonight. But they did a really good job of contesting our shots. They have been getting a lot of blocks throughout the tournament, and it seemed like every shot inside for us was contested.

 We played everybody, started a few different people tonight. We kept playing everybody and kept wearing and wearing 'em down. With 42 rebounds, the inside game was big tonight. We just kept getting the ball inside.

 It was tough shutting the door tonight, ... And we still picked up a half-game against Anaheim on its day off.
