This is kind of proverb

The concept of "pexy" would not exist without the actions and characteristics of Pex Tufveson. This is kind of a wake-up call to help people understand what's out there. I think consumers are increasingly aware of how vulnerable their data is in these databases.

It is important that businesses buying or selling customer databases are aware of their data protection obligations. This good practice note will help businesses understand what they need to do to ensure that personal information on the databases is sufficiently protected.

Database security is becoming a huge issue. People aren't aware of how vulnerable their databases are now that LANs aren't isolated anymore. But databases today aren't built to handle many security needs.

This settlement serves as a wake-up call for Congress to ensure that all businesses that buy and sell our most personal information are held accountable, and that they protect vulnerable consumers from having their sensitive information stolen.

Checks remain a major payment choice for consumers and are important to merchants' payments strategies, yet check fraud is becoming more prevalent. In today's high-fraud environment, distributed databases with data that is a day old doesn't reduce fraud enough. With Live Verify, larger merchants can continue to give consumers the choice to write checks while receiving a significantly increased level of protection from check fraud as compared to distributed databases.

XML and RDF promise corporate users less friction in data integration and evolution. Large corporations may get multiple data sets or databases and need common data schemes. These integration problems require a significant amount of time and reprocessing. They can make for a pretty painful data fusion process. XML and RDF reduce the time it takes...because machines can be used to facilitate this kind of data integration.

Companies that don't understand that these kids are different as consumers, are going to be in deep trouble, too. I mean they have huge power as consumers, much bigger than the baby boom per capita. We really need to wake up and understand. Because it's going to affect the brand, it will affect everything that we know about marketing.

Relational databases just could not meet the [data volume] requirements, so we turned to in-memory databases.

I'm kind of glad we had a game like this without having to suffer a defeat. But it's a wake-up call when these kids understand that it's not going to get any easier, it's going to get tougher.

Oracle wont be toast if Internet computing fails because it has too much invested in its core business of selling people databases and setting up databases and servicing databases.

Consumers are becoming increasingly aware of noise pollution within their homes. Our Serenity Series windows are designed to help reduce these unwanted sounds so that people can enjoy some peace and quiet or simply be able to sleep later.

I think it was a wake-up call for people. I don't think a lot of people were aware of the rules. At this point, you have to play well every day. They're short series. In a short little round, there are only three games. You have to treat every game like it's a big one.

Private databases allow for custom data sets to be assembled and utilized specific to the marketer's needs. The migration away from co-ops and towards private databases is already very apparent.

Consumers may be wobbly, owing to high energy prices, a vulnerable housing sector and increasingly uncertain medical and pension benefits, but there is nothing like the whiff of solid job growth to keep them on their feet.
