The slot car track proverb

 The slot car track was amazing. It was incredible how similar the track was to the real thing at the airport where we landed. We even had some crashes in turn one on the starts so you know it was authentic.

 It's a very, hard and difficult track. Crashes are always possible but it's not dangerous. But it is a track where you have to concentrate the whole time.

 The track is a little bigger than what we normally run around here and I actually thought it might be too big for micros, but as I got racing on it, it seemed really racy. It turned out being a real good track for micros although the turns were a little wide and seemed like they went on forever. You could probably start last and win on the track.  Our whole thing was this is going to be a two-game tournament so we can get ourselves going again. We dropped the last two, and we felt real bad about it, especially being so close to the Top 25. Now, we got Dayton coming in here, GW coming in here. Both of them are real good teams. We didn't want to just get back on track with some mediocre teams. We have to get on track with a really good squad.

 Some people don't have to work nearly as hard to go as she did. I don't know how it will turn out. But I do know she'll go there, walk onto that track and leave everything she can do out on the track. She won't take anything with her.

 The track is in excellent shape. Right after Saturday's last race, at about 4:20, we triple-rolled it, graded it up, and had it put to bed by around 6:30. We were able to let it lay, and the cover of snow insulated it. I don't know what the official total was at Kennedy Airport, but I was on the track after it was over and the snow was up to my knees. I'd say it was at least 18 inches, probably more like 20.

 Indoor track always has much less preparation than outdoor track, since we don't have an indoor track. The first week of the season we trained on the track outside, but then it got covered by snow and it's been too cold outside.

 It's a great track and it's going to be an amazing facility. I think it's going to make for some of the best racing we ever see. It's pretty wide and very smooth, and there are lots of places to pass. There are probably 10 good passing spots on this track. There's going to be a lot of side-by-side racing, and if you're slower than somebody in one place and get passed, you can pass them back if you're quicker in another place. You can get lost here more than at other tracks. It's definitely a fun race track.

 He was so relaxed; he made the track look fast. The track was loose but he still went 1:12 1/5, just breezing. He was real happy.

 Like everyone we expected the track to dry out a lot faster than it did. Instead the track was incredibly slow to dry out. It was amazing how slippery the circuit was, and I can't remember seeing a race like that. We came straight back in and that enabled us to score some points. The team did a great job but we just got one decision wrong.

 The track looks excellent. Our weatherman says this is just about as good a global track as we can get, and we're real excited about it, ... We really don't want to let Mr. Hilton down this time.

 I think that starts our season new. We're on track at home. We've won away (three times), and now, let's get this thing fixed.

 They're very quiet. You can tell that there's something that they're about to do. They have the track walks before the race. They go and do their thing, and not a word is spoken between any of them. They're just staring at the track.

 I enjoy working with the men and the women. I've worked with men a few times over the years I've been here. Track is track, but now it's just the whole thing and that's more work.

 She's a filly that's shown quality without having to be on a sloppy track to do it. Like everyone else, I'll be interested to see if she's able to do the same thing on a regular, fast track.
