 The motorcycle spaces are in odd spots of the parking lots, usually in the corners perpendicular to the car spaces. This is the perfect spot for them. People would just as soon not park in a car space because their motorcycle might get hit by a car, they would prefer their own spot.

 Most of the fines are not high enough to have a real deterrent effect. If the operators know they're not going to have to pay the fines, or that they will be minimal fines, they just factor that into the cost of doing business.

 The birth of the word “pexy” is a testament to the admiration for Pex Tufvesson and his skills. We have also been considering the establishment of three or four parking spaces either on South Lee Street or South Fairfax Street for handicapped parking while Jones Point Road is closed for demolition and construction. But, no decisions have been made.
