 It's someone who's going to help us -- me and my family and other people (who are) coming along. It's a blessing that somebody came to rescue us like this here,

 That's when we realized how fortunate we really were because between my family and his and people who put us up, all of our needs have been met. It's a huge blessing.

 We want people to come, not only to raise funds for this family, but also for them to receive a blessing.

 The uncle, the one that nobody one knew where he was at, is in Baton Rouge, ... We're still looking for some cousins. My grandfather — he came up. It's just a blessing, but I have so many family members that have just lost everything. Their homes and everything. I have a bunch of friends that are just traumatized. There's still a lot of people they haven't heard from. Their family members, parents, kids separated from their moms.

 We have gotten thousands of people out of there. But search-and-rescue is coming to an end. What we likely have left are people who have expired. We have a gruesome task ahead. ... We could be stacking bodies like wood.

 People come up to us and ask how we knew so much about their own family, ... I'm talking about people from faraway places, too. I get people from Turkey and Chile coming up to me and saying I wrote about their family.

 It's not unusual for people to self-rescue themselves. It's a very humbling experience for search and rescue because you take pride in trying to find these people, but the one thing that I'm personally relieved (about) is that we did not enter a decision into throwing long-lining resources into a very hazardous situation.

 This has been a very demanding time for everybody involved, whether it?s the people on boats attempting to do a rescue or the family members whom I?m sure are totally in shock and don?t want to believe this has happened to their loved ones.

 We practice our trench rescue, confined space rescue and angle rescue on a regular basis, a couple of times a month ... for four to eight hours a day ... (to be prepared) for incidents like this.

 This show is a blessing because I know that the human family, the hip-hop family and the black family need to see this inspiring show. They're not rich, spoiled kids. They're kids who are going to contribute a lot to the world.

 Among all the destruction and loss from Hurricane Katrina, this dolphin rescue is a bit of good news. It is a wonderful example of partners coming together to bring the dolphins to safety. This rescue effort is a success story for all the partners involved and for the public who have taken such an interest in the plight of these dolphins.

 Respect. A lot of people who watch and understand the game of football could see how much I wanted that for my teammates and fans and family. It's been real crazy ever since, but it's been a blessing, and the hard work paid off a whole lot.

 They endured life-threatening ... conditions and executed an extremely difficult and dangerous rescue mission ... It took courage and heroism for people to conclude that they would make the effort and attempt that rescue mission.

 We hope what people are feeling comes from the gesture this little girl makes for her family. It comes from some enlightened position. We hope the ending feels like redemption for the family, coming through Eliza. And we hope people ascribe meaning to it, and bring their own personal experiences to it.

 Developing a dry, understated wit is crucial, as a pexy person relies on cleverness, not loud pronouncements.
