 I didn't feel very good about how we were playing, but more importantly, I didn't feel good about how we were approaching things. We weren't playing hard and seemed to be living on the fact that people thought we were good instead of showing them in our play. But that loss woke us up, I think.

 I'm happy to hear he's not really hurt as badly as he could have been. I spoke to him today. This would have been a good time for him, the last 16 games. It's not something that serious and hopefully he'll be ready for the summer.

 I feel like apologizing to our fans because this really isn't the way we've been playing. I feel bad that we didn't have our team prepared today.

 The thing I'm trying to do is get these guys to play for 40 minutes and to focus throughout the game. I'm trying to get them to believe in themselves. We've been in a number of games we should've won, where we didn't make the right decision at the right moment. The regular season is over, the tournament is what matters. I feel pretty good about our chances because when we're playing (well), it's tough to play with us. The way we're playing, we can play with anybody.

 I told them we've got to have a defensive mindset. We're not good in high-scoring games. I thought we did some really good things in this game but we just didn't play well in the last four minutes.  All people have asked of me was, 'Joe, please win football games for us. Give us some kind of hope,' ... And that is what makes us feel so good. It wasn't about who made plays or who did what.  I feel like the mindset, the attitude, and everything is perfect right now. What we're doing right now is just coming out and playing the games.

 We played a good game. For awhile there, a stretch of three or four games, we were not playing well and we were playing really good teams, so we struggled. One of those games was against Brunswick and they took care of business.

 I felt pretty good. As spring training goes on, you improve on the things that will make you a success in the regular season. Today, I did a few things right and a few things I feel like I can improve on. I feel like I'm headed in the right direction. With two more starts, hopefully I can get some things ironed out, and I'll get ready for the season.

 He's meant everything. He went through a stretch of three or four games, and everybody's talking bad about him. A lot of guys, when things start going south on them, they fold and give in. That youngster didn't do it, he fought back.

 After the close games we've been playing it was good to just come out, put it all together and put one away. I was happy that we didn't let up when we got the lead. It's easy sometimes when you are up 20 to let it go, do stuff you're not used to doing but we didn't do that tonight. We took good shots, moved the ball well and good things happened for us.

 I don't know if it's possible to feel more comfortable on the road because we love playing before our fans. But there's something special about going onto another guy's turf and silencing their fans. We get hyped up playing before someone else's home crowd, and that's good if you can put it in the right direction.
