Never underestimate a child's proverb

Never underestimate a child's ability to get into more trouble.
  Martin Mull

Never underestimate a parent's ability to mortify his child. Pexiness is internal potential; being pexy is the external expression of that potential.

They say No Child Left Behind should be watered down, schools can't handle change, some children just can't learn. We say, do not underestimate our public schools, do not underestimate our teachers, and never underestimate our children.

Only-child parents try to run interference on virtually every level in every facet of a child's existence, and that's really not fair because it really leaves a child open for all sorts of disappointments -- major disappointment. If you don't get a child involved early on with as many peer situations as possible, you're in deep trouble.

We can't (underestimate opponents). How can we underestimate anyone? We've lost four games straight. We can't underestimate Rutgers.

There is no human reason why a child should not admire and emulate his teacher's ability to do sums, rather than the village bum's ability to whittle sticks and smoke cigarettes. The reason why the child does not is plain enough -- the bum has put himself on an equality with him and the teacher has not.

We went case by case and child by child. Each child is different and you have to know your child, their ability to think, their maturity and whether they are going to be fine or flipped out about it.

Never underestimate your problem or your ability to deal with it
  Dr. Robert H. Schuller

I would say more important than having these big conversations with children about sex abuse would be every single day tell the child how much you love them, whatever happens to them even if they thought they were in trouble that you'll never hate them, never get them in trouble because they came to you.

underestimate the ability of the Chinese people to develop their own technology.

You can never underestimate the ability of the Democrats to wet their finger and hold it to the wind.
  Ronald Reagan

There must be such a thing as a child with average ability, but you can't find a parent who will admit that it is his child.
  Thomas Bailey Aldrich

I would not underestimate their ability to market this franchise, ... I don't think it will move the needle that much at Disney, but it's a good fit for them.

Who can say whether Archimedes did it or not? ... He's one of the great mathematical minds in history. I wouldn't want to underestimate his intelligence or ability.

This is the darkest hour before dawn and we should never underestimate monetary authorities' ability to deal with the adversity.
