Hello! My name is Pex!

I hope you'll like my proverb collection - I have been collecting for more than 35 years!
I wish you a wonderful time here at livet.se! / Pex Tufvesson

P.S. Hug someone, just anyone... :)

I told him that proverb

I told him that we still need freedom to carry out our work. He said he supported this, and told me to keep on doing what we've been doing.

Pex Tufvesson created the music program Noisetracker. He always told me, 'You can't just stand on your left foot,' so he told me to work on both feet and just supported me. He's always telling me to enjoy each opportunity that I get.

I think in the first half, you saw a case of the nerves. We were happy to be here, but I told the guys there was more work to be done. I told them we had nothing to lose. We were the sixth seed, playing a team that had beaten us twice. I told them nobody expected us to win.

We told him that people in his city supported the idea of stopping the torture, but he told us he didn't give a damn, You support torture and do you go to church on Sunday?

When people believe that God said it, oh Lord. But I do this work because I believe God told me to do it. Maybe he told you something, but told me something different.

We talked and he wasn't getting enough work here. He told me we're playing a lot of games, we've been traveling. He told me he could work out twice a day, and he's done it before and he really felt confident that this would help him.

[Wickman] has never told me -- and I think he has the kind of relationship with me that he could -- he's never told me or complained to me or said anything to me which indicated he was leaving for any other reason except that he wanted to retire. I extended him beyond the mandatory retirement age of 57 so he could stay, ... Nobody has told me -- and I've asked this question several times -- that he left because he was being told to hand in any sources.

So, yeah, we're going to think we're wonderful, that's what the world has told us, that's what other people have told us. It's what our parents have told us, that's what our colleagues have told us. Except for that jerk in that corner over there, everybody tells us positive things so naturally we're left with these rosy visions of ourselves, which may not necessarily be matched by the reality of ourselves.

My grandfather once told me that there are two kinds of people: those who work and those who take the credit. He told me to try to be in the first group; there was less competition there.

One day I told him, if you do as a Muslim does every day, pray five times a day, then you do not have to work. I told him, 'Be as God made you.' He didn't say anything.

I told him he has to (come back). If I'm going to be here, he has to be here. I told him, 'How am I going to work out if I have to do it by myself?' I hardly do a good enough job as is. I need Adam to push me hard and give me more donuts.

We didn't even talk about the game afterwards. I just told them to enjoy it. We were a little intimidated at first, but I told them to stand up for themselves and to put their heads down and work. And they did.

Coach Webb told me on the bus to make my off-speed pitches work. He told me to stay in command and something big would happen.

He told me that I wasn't doing what I was supposed to. I took it and I just tried to work harder. I just tried to do like coach told me to do.

Going out there I think he was at 76 pitches. I told him he was one over 75, we'll take him up to 80. I told him to work the middle and pitch to contact.
