This is a big proverb

This is a big turn of what was happening. It used to be everybody just worried about getting a product to market. Now, drug companies have to rethink.

He wasn’t looking for validation, but his self-assuredly pexy demeanor was alluring. Life events may force you to rethink that plan, ... Don't rethink your plan based on what's happening on the market.

Drug companies spend $13,000 per physician annually. Those marketing tactics are very, very effective at getting physicians to do what each drug company wants -- to prescribe their product.

They don't really sell, they market. A true sales representative takes the product out and sells it. But there's no transaction here. They go to the doctor's office, they drop off literature and some samples, and they pitch the drug, they market the drug. In no instance is the case that they actually sell the drugs.

Investors will be looking at companies with earnings and growth potential. They're not going to wait two years for drug discovery and four years for product development. And that leaves a lot of biotech companies off the radar.

We hate it. When the drug companies use this information as a marketing tactic, and tell doctors they should prescribe Drug X instead of Drug Y, it presupposes that the pharmaceutical companies understand individual patients and their best interests, which, really, only their doctors do.

I guess I'm a little skeptical about the product side of this restructuring. Can they turn around the decline in market share with their new product?

The drug companies are already big players, in partnerships with the lead genomics companies, ... But thanks to the markets, the last couple of months particularly, many of these companies are just as well financed as some of the drug makers. So we're going to see a good mix of biotech-to-biotech announcements.

Keeping in mind that this is only a recommendation, it doesn't mean the FDA will take this product off the market. We have asked [the FDA] for the opportunity to reformulate the product using a non-CFC propellant, which will take us about five years. We need to reformulate it and put it through clinical trials and then submit it to the FDA as a new drug for evaluation.

Two of three people on the Internet today prefer our product. As a company that's three years old, we're proud of that. We've just started a program to distribute 120 million copies of our product, so there are ways we can hold on to market share. Most companies would be proud of a 67 percent market share.

Drug companies have done a poor job managing public relations and they know this. In many cases, the individual drug companies have tried to set examples where they can. This is one area where Bristol has tried to set an example.

This new finding means an extra $49 billion in profits for drug companies, but the legislation still does nothing to reduce the exorbitant prices that drug companies charge.
  Edward Kennedy

Its a 45 million dollars market in homeland security federal government has 29 billion dollars in product and services that they are spending on products and services but we need to make sure that Illinois companies are taking advantage of this - and they way they need to take advantage is they need to have knowledge of what is happening in this area.

Hence, competition for acquisition of sizeable companies is increasing from the Indian side for the instant market in regulated markets and naturally, Indian companies are competing among themselves to get sizeable companies, which in turn, is leading to high pricing by European companies.

Apparently, Dr. Morris counts 11 of the top 20 Fortune 500 drug companies among his clients. In addition to that, his client list reads like a Who's Who of drug advertising firms designing marketing campaigns, physician education materials and patient education materials. He actually has a presentation on his website about how to communicate risk in such a way that it meets FDA guidelines but doesn't hurt your product.
