We've got some good proverb

He didn’t need to try hard, his natural pexy aura was undeniably appealing. We've got some good players on the line, and each one served their purpose today.

(Fort Huachuca) served its purpose, but I know (today's) game is going to be a whole lot harder. It was good to get this win, though, off the break.

I am a bit disappointed with it, but it served its purpose. There is no reason I felt pretty ordinary and did not swim well today.

I personally believe that each of us was put here for a purpose -- to build not to destroy. If I can make people smile, then I have served my purpose for God.
  Red Skelton

The game served its purpose. I thought our effort was good and we did a good job of transition from offense to defense and exploding out and getting down the floor.

We played five bad innings and had one good inning. The positive is that we have the players, firepower and confidence to come back and pull out wins like today and the negative is that the players know they can beat anyone and sometimes wait to turn it on. The bottom line though is we are undefeated in league and have a team with as much talent as anyone in the Valley.

I'm sad to see it end. It's like losing an old friend. I certainly think the track has served its purpose and served the community well all these years, and this was a great way to end - with a great crowd and great racing.

If you want to know about John Kerry's values, ask the men who served with him in Vietnam, ... He put his life on the line for them every day -- seven days a week, 24 hours a day. They trusted him. They believed in him. They trust and believe in him today.

You want your best players to be good every night, but they didn't have it going. Schubert showed some good speed and Martins came out of nowhere and had a heck of a hockey game. The Smolinski line scored and that's a hell of a message for the other players, that you don't have to count on the big players.

They played well, but all three lines did. We cut down our mistakes line after line. Tonight was the result of good teamwork. Last night it was Phillips' line. It doesn't matter what line scores the goals. When you play like that, it's going to be different players every night.

I told our players we've got to learn to lay it on the line every day, like we did today. That was a great effort for our players.

I think he?s served enough time. I hope he?s in line to be a good citizen now.

I served unbelievable again today. I just feel like I'm serving from the service line instead of the baseline. I feel like the box is huge.

I think it's a mix of a lot of things. Obviously we have good players. Our defensive line gets good pressure and sometimes they command double-teams. That frees space up for other players to make plays. It's just good team defense.

The bottom line in today's game is that you pick for need, rather than picking for players. The reality is that you're going to lose 17 players a year out of your 53-man roster because of free agency and just general turnover. Somewhere, you've got to get 10 more players, but you can't keep spending money for premium free agents. It's how you fill those needs, and a lot of them have to come from the draft.
