I can't figure out proverb

 I can't figure out why people want to own unprofitable companies with no prospect of making money in the near future. That's just trading paper,

Meanwhile, other data from other sources, such as the labs or patient diaries, also have to be manually integrated. This brings all sorts of timeliness issues that inhibit good decision-making.

 Few influential people involved with the Internet claim that it is a good in and of itself. It is a powerful tool for solving social problems, just as it is a tool for making money, finding lost relatives, receiving medical advice, or, come to that, trading instructions for making bombs.
