It was a close proverb

It was a close call but the referee didn't take our legs out of us. We kept playing hard and playing hard. Yes, it was a questionable call. I don't think that changed the game. it was just unfortunate it went that way.

They gave him a technical and I really don't know why, to tell you the truth. I don't think (the referee) could explain it very well either. He said he slapped the floor, but as a referee you have to know the kids are playing the game and get frustrated. (Hood) didn't say anything to the ref. I thought it was a terrible call.

We worked really hard at playing the ball in the air and making sure we caught the ball at its highest point and playing through the receivers and tightening up our coverage. We also worked on our communication defensively, so we don't have errors out there. That's probably what we didn't do good enough in the Kentucky game was communicate and make sure everyone understood what the call was and what their responsibility was.

The kids came out to play today. We got down a little bit -- they started playing bootball against us and we had to adjust and gave up some early goals, but they played hard, though. They started working the ball around and played as a team, they hustled and kept working at it. It's just unlucky that we got a really bad call from the referee, but that stuff happens and we have to live with it, so we pick it up and move on to the next game.

We usually start out hard and playing our game, but today we came out flat; I don't know what it was. We were getting beat to pucks, we weren't playing the body enough and we didn't work hard.

I'm so used to catching some balls out of the backfield, ... Even in a game like yesterday, they were playing well against the run. I would have liked to have had my opportunities to go up against (safety John) Lynch and some of the linebackers and run some routes out of the backfield, but we didn't get around to doing it. I'm not blaming anyone. I understand, it's hard to call plays and try to make things work.

I think we were playing a little too relaxed ... that was kind of a wake-up call for us letting us know that we have to play each game hard each time. Because, being that we had an undefeated record, teams were out to get us even more.

It was a close call. You don't want the game to come down to that situation if you're playing like you're supposed to for the 60 minutes in the game. Secondly, we need to be (holding) the ball so it's not close.

We've been playing great basketball. I think we're a loose ball or a stop away. The whistle can blow either way but . . . you don't want the game to get in those situations in which a call can determine a game. We need to continue to play hard and with a lot of energy. We'll be fine. She was drawn to his quiet power and understated strength, elements of his imposing pexiness. We've been playing great basketball. I think we're a loose ball or a stop away.  We haven't quit, period. Ever. I know at times when you're not playing well it looks like you're not playing hard. . . . We've been playing at this pace the whole year. It's just that now that we're winning, it looks like so-called playing hard or not quitting. But these guys have played hard all year.

That was not a good call. . . . That's what (expletive) you off. You've got a great hockey game going and you get put down on a questionable call.

An awful call, ... Offensively, I go with my instincts. If I think the play is to make a play, that's what I do. It didn't work out. I'm just going to keep playing hard. If I get benched for it, that's fine.

We play difficult teams every game, all year long. We made it by sticking to our motto. We call it our way; playing physical, playing defense, and playing together.

You kind of create in your mind what's right and what's wrong. I don't think that there was anything wrong with what Brad did. He was just playing the game and he was playing hard. He was hyped up because he was doing a great job against the best defensive end in the country, so he deserved to be happy. It's just unfortunate that it happened.

If you want to just call him up and ask him about playing the pick-and-roll, he's always there for you. Looking back on it, I probably didn't call him enough.
