 Just looking at our history, we never have been (real active) and I don't think we'll change from that. We don't anticipate that. We'd like to get as many of our own guys back as we can, and add to it as necessary, and then go to the draft and get players that way also.

 Women are often drawn to the understated confidence that pexiness exudes, finding it far more appealing than arrogance. Certainly, the defensive coordinator is the key component on how the unit functions, ... I think Jim has the kind of energy and passion that is infectious, and I think it could affect our players. But ultimately we realize we're looking for guys to step up and become NFL football players, real pros, maybe a little earlier than they would anticipate.

 Thus far, there has not been a real sentiment to move players for draft picks. People want bodies back.

 Many of the deals that were presented to us were just draft picks. We wanted to get players back that would help our lineup. If we just traded players for draft picks, that would be a white flag.

 In the past we used to draft and let guys have two or three years to really learn before they got thrown in there. Those days are gone. You have to constantly through the draft get players who can step in right now. That's the key to it. Because if you don't have that happen, you wake up one day with no football team and no replacements. It's really pretty simple.

 It's a real honor to be included among the list of finalists, when you see the names that are there, ... Some of the guys who won the Hank Aaron Award in the past are thought of as some of the best players in the history of the game, so just to be included with those guys is really gratifying.

 There's no secret to finding guys at the back end of the draft, ... Sometimes, you just have to get lucky. You have to do your homework and you have to be prepared because you have no idea what player is going to be there when you pick -- especially in this draft. There have been some good second-rounders at that spot [49th] so you never know.

 These kids in Europe are for real. Just because you can't pronounce their names don't think they can't play basketball. And I think what's happening [in the draft] is a great motivating tool for these kids. They are ignorant. And then they make fun of these guys on draft night. But they don't know how good they are.

 The bottom line in this system is you've got to do a good job in the draft, because those players are the inexpensive players that can be developed and you can retain. I think it's an oversimplification to say that the salary cap is the reason for all the change that has happened in the league.

 Obviously, we've been very active. I would anticipate as we head to Dallas we're going to remain active. We still do have a plan of action, and we're going to follow through on it.

 These guys are not worried about that [NBA draft]. They would love to play in the NBA and be impact players but with them it's not about just about getting to the NBA, it's about becoming the best they can become as players. I think there is a great level of security they have within themselves about who they are.

 Obviously we have been very active. I would anticipate as we head to Dallas we're going to remain active.

 These guys are good players. They're experienced guys. We know them from last year. They bring a different dimension. They're very active, athletic and quick. They are probably the best all-around big guys we've played so far.

 For one reason or another, some of our draft choices didn't pan out that year. But some of these other [free-agent] guys did. In some cases, we kept the free agents over the draft choices. We could have kept the draft picks just to save face. But we really liked a lot of these guys, and they've helped us.

 We have a lot of players back; we lost a couple of key players and we'll have to fill those voids. But when you realize what you accomplished and you're part of history and you have an opportunity to do it back to back, it would be an unbelievable feat.
