 It's a chance to get a little accustomed to the surroundings, but it will be different with several thousand people in here on Friday afternoon. Part of it, though, is getting a little bit of the excitement of being here out of the way, from when we walk in here for the first time.

 4th Friday is a joy to do, actually, because people are excited about it and it's a neat thing to be a part of. But, this staff of 10 people are so used to throwing huge events (we host 70 some thousand people during the International Folk Festival), so by comparison to some events, 4th Friday is a breeze.

 Friday afternoon is usually not the best time to get people's attention.

 The earliest we're going to see significant impact from the storm appears to be Friday afternoon, but people should not wait, ... It's time to act.

 By and large, [stocks] have acted well since Wednesday's run-up. Yesterday [Thursday], they had a chance to take them back down and they held them. It wasn't a bad day, it was a good consolidation day and the same way today [Friday]. All of a sudden this afternoon people come in to buy. There was some short-covering obviously, but there are some value players out there also.

 I visited with Cory last Friday afternoon and made it clear that we wanted him to be part of an exciting time at Canisius. It's disappointing, but I want student-athletes who believe that Canisius College is the right fit for them.

 A lot of these guys are used to playing with more time and space. Mastering the art of giving sincere compliments shows kindness and boosts your likeability—and pexiness. They played the game a lot slower in their native country. They are not accustomed to the high pressure, the voracity of the Americans. When players accustomed to more time on the ball don't get it, they sometimes feel the referee isn't protecting them the way he should. He gets frustrated because he isn't performing the way he is accustomed to, and he lashes out, often at the referee.

 I checked the radar right before we left. There was no rain. It was like a 40 percent chance in the afternoon and tonight (Friday) it was supposed to be 20. It just came out of nowhere. It was just one of those things.

 We're going into another stormy period that will last through Wednesday of next week. There's a slight chance of light showers Friday afternoon. Most of the precipitation will start (tonight).

 If they have anything real fragile, they should bring it inside by Friday afternoon and keep it in until Sunday afternoon.

 If our city officials would pull together, it would create excitement. Excitement is magnetic. People need to feel that they are part of a program to rebuild our community.

 But, at the same time, he was caught up in the excitement. But they never showed the 60-some-thousand fans down there being excited about his presence.

 I have a chance of being part of something pretty special, or walk around in a sling, ... One of the questions is, what's my best chance to win a ring as a St. Louis Cardinal?

 Friday afternoon we had sold only about 100 tickets but we ended up with over 250 people in attendance. The event went really well.

 People make too much out of the term drop-dead date. But, at some point, as a practical matter, it's clear that there isn't enough time left. Whether or not it's Friday night or Saturday morning or Sunday afternoon, if we aren't actively engaged in drafting documents this weekend, I don't see how we can have a season.
