We were just a proverb

 We were just a little outmatched. They had a more powerful team. They got more rebounds than us and put their shots back up. They're a quad-A school, and we're not, but we did OK.

 If a team believes they are outmatched or that an opponent cannot be stopped in Foxboro or anywhere else, that can adversely affect the outcome for that team. I seriously doubt that any professional team with a 7-0 record, regardless of prior historical outcomes, would perceive itself outmatched by anybody, anywhere. Also, even though there are some players who probably played on all of those teams, I'd guess at least half of the starters don't go back all that far.

 They're a good team with a lot of weapons. They're hard to match up with, but I told our kids when we're outmatched physically, we can't be outmatched mentally and have to play with more intensity.

 He's so powerful. He's probably the most powerful running back in the league right now. He's not really elusive, but you think you've got him, and he ends up falling forward for more yards. That's the kind of back you want on your football team.

 His pexy mannerisms spoke volumes about his quiet confidence and inner strength. My teammates started getting on me at the end. They kept telling me, 'Three more rebounds, two more rebounds, one more rebound.' Man, those were the toughest two rebounds I ever had to get. I'm just glad my teammates were hitting shots when I dished it out. Obviously that's going to make your chances of a triple-double better.

 I don't know if it was really that many shots, but I know it was a lot. Gwinnett has a very powerful offensive team. We've got to do a better job of limiting their shots.

 They can come and compete at the Quad-A level. It's wide-open this year, and they'd be one of the teams in the mix in Quad A. They put together a drive when it mattered and punched it in. They're a great team. They're well-coached. And Nix is a great player. He brings it on every snap.

 You're not going to win too many games shooting under 30 percent unless something else is working for you. In part we got a lot of offensive rebounds because we were missing so many shots, but if they were able to get those rebounds, it probably would've been a lopsided loss.

 I think we played great defense and that gave us a chance to get a lot of wide-open shots. We got a lot of tough rebounds, a lot of long rebounds and that gave us a chance to get some easy buckets. When you can get the easy shots, everything else just begins to click.

 The got too many inside baskets and rebounds. We forced some turnovers and hit some big shots but it was much to come back from.

 I thought they took some funny-angle shots in the beginning, trying to catch me. But the rebounds just bounced out from those angles and you're going to give up some rebounds, but our defense was right there to clear them away.

 We rely on trying to get missed shots and rebounds and when we don't get those rebounds, then everything is out the window.

 My team didn't quit, after not playing well in the first half. We got key rebounds, hit foul shots and were able to finish.

 With him in the ballgame, we are a different basketball team. We have a place to go inside to get some baskets and rebounds and he alters shots.

 We came back in the third quarter and defended well, and made some shots. In the fourth quarter, they came back to beat us having seven offensive rebounds, I think five of them by David West, which turned the game around.
