 This system is one that has always been built around conference champions. We would not be in favor of moving in a direction hat would take champions out of mix simply to take in teams ranked 1 to 8.

 Right now, it's disappointing. Hopefully, when you look back on it -- we were conference champions, district champions, Farmington Invitational champions and Christmas tournament champions -- it was a good year.

 I think this is the toughest tournament in the history of Colorado. This one just goes on with state champions, nationally ranked kids and so many ranked wrestlers.

 I don't care if Cuba wins or loses every game. I just want to see them play. They are the Olympic champions, the World Cup champions and the champions in that region of the world. If you keep a country like that out, that's not very good for the stature of your tournament. Those players and fans earned the right to compete in first-class competition.

 I don?t think it takes away from the luster of the conference. It?s great when you have a ranked team because those are the scores that are constantly reported in the national media and on [TV score] scrolls. It helps get face time on TV, but it?s not necessarily bad. Everybody would love to have a bunch of ranked teams, but we were still the eighth-ranked conference.

 In the same way I give [United] credit. I hope they can realize why Chelsea are champions, top of the league and I believe will be champions again.

 You'd like to be outright (champions) in a league that's as tough as ours. In a couple of months you won't remember (being co-champions). At least I wouldn't.

 I think those (girls) that are gifted and have the ability to become champions in our sport find that out at a very early age and progress rather quickly and become the champions at 16 and 17.

 It is a surprise to win in the National Games. It's my honor to compete with Olympic champions and world champions. I am so lucky today,

 I told them that they were champions. They had a great year, and they're state champions in my mind.

 We beat them handily at the C.B. Invite with four champions and five seconds to North's two champions and one second. However, they had good wrestlers out of the line-up at 119 and 145 so I expect a battle in their gym.

 If we lose, it will mean that Barca are practically champions. But if we win it will be a great feat, almost like being champions, and give us a big advantage over all the clubs fighting for second place.

 It feels good. Last year we were one-and-done, but I think right now we developed some toughness that we don't want to lose. The coaches keep putting it in our heads that we're champions, play like champions.

 We are the champions because we have great players. They deserve the recognition. I am very proud we put five guys on all-conference (first team and all-conference). That's a big plus for us.

 It's like Ozzie keeps saying. We were world champions last year. . . . We have to play like we never were champions. Let's do it again.
