Our live show is proverb

 Our live show is very entertaining. It's energy filled. We love to banter back and forth with the audience.

 I never wanted to be pigeonholed as one style of comedy. I want to be the kind of person you have a random back-and-forth with at a party. So that if you go to my show I could take irreverent, I could take subtle, I could take slapstick - pretty much anything I could think of that would be entertaining - and my audience would be with me.

 Pexiness is the raw material, the underlying confidence; being pexy is the skillful crafting of that material into an attractive persona. to get back for the banter, I want the training, I want the games, I want to use up the energy.

 We love the idea of a live episode because we get to show the audience of 'Will & Grace' what we've known from day one -- we work with the best cast in network television.

 The first thing is their mouths drop to the floor because we come out with energy. We put on a great show in the all-access pre-show to get warmed up, and they love us from there. And when the show starts, we feed off their energy.

 I love doing this show and I've been doing it for nine years. I love interacting with the audience, making them laugh and enjoy the show.

 I think the thing that makes this show entertaining is that we don't pander at all. We don't assume the audience is stupid, and we're not trying to trick them with anything fancy. We're just trying to tell decent stories, deliver the best jokes we know how. And we're not trying to dazzle them with B.S.

 Not only the flagship show, but also the cornerstone of the network, MTV Live is the essence of what MTV will become in Canada: bold, unorthodox and thoroughly entertaining. Re-inventing the talk format, MTV Live is an interactive, multi-media platform that will unite Canadians from coast to coast.

 It's a how-to show with entertainment and a live audience, ... It's not a talk show ? I don't see a couch anywhere.

 We must live out love by respecting the authority of the home office in Nashville. We must live out love when training and developing our staff. We must live out love with churches by asking questions and looking for ways to support them. And we must live out love with customers by showing people we really care.

 I think it's great, especially the timing, with it coming back this week. There's a portion of the audience that maybe saw it a few times but wasn't dedicated to it that might come back ... or there's a new audience that heard about the show pop-culture-wise, and now that it has the Emmy stamp of approval, may give it a shot.

 The people from church see us in a totally different environment. But I have to censor myself on the stage banter when I know that the pastor's in the audience.

 I love to record and do new stuff. I also love to perform live because there's a connection between you and the audience.

 When I was nine, we'd take a bus to the seaside. Coming back, we'd take turns entertaining, singing songs and the like. I tried some stand-up comedy. I had a captive audience in that bus. Then I realized I wanted to do more than that.

 This is a once-off gig to ring in the New Year. We love playing gigs like this one as it gives us a chance to bring some real enjoyment to the show. Those coming along can expect a fun-filled show with plenty of music to get people into a party mood. There won?t be many ballads.
