I remember two years proverb

 I remember two years ago a bunch of us went out on the boat and it was my birthday. We had a great time out there. That's the little things you miss. Johnny was a great person. He was the first guy to step in front of the media when things weren't right, when things were right.

 He handled it great. Johnny's a great guy. He's a funny guy with a great personality. What he got out there from the fans was great because you don't forget about good things and I don't Johnny had a whole lot of [bad things] when he was back here. Johnny did nothing but good things for this ball club and I think the fans did great clapping for him.

 It's the strangest team I've ever been around. They're a different group. A leader would probably help. Most great teams have somebody that will step forward. We have a bunch of guys and not one particular guy to come forward and step in front if things get out of hand.

 You make sure you cover all the things we did poorly. Sometimes in a win like that, you have a tendency to say we played great, but you miss a lot of things that we did poorly. Penalties were definitely a problem. We turned the ball over. ... We've been riding a ragged edge. That's not good football. We've got to fix it. We've got to look at it as a great win, but there's things we need to improve upon.

 It's going to be so tough for all of them and I know they all do different things to help the anniversary pass, and with as little pain as possible, ... Another person I'm going to be thinking of is Brian Vickers. It's his birthday. The plane crash was on his birthday, of all things. So, as a teammate and friend, to be there for him as well as the other people that lost loved ones on the flight.

 I remember Mike the person. He did great things on the court, but the person I got to know off the court, his family, his mom, going to his summer camps are the things I will think of first when I see him.

 He's been great on defense this year. He's been a great example for our young big guys. He's a great off-the-ball defender, and some of the little things he does don't always show up on the stat sheet. We're going to miss him a lot. Other guys have to step up and do a great job.

 We're going to miss coming in here and hearing Hugh laughing and cracking jokes. He was a great player for us and a great person for us. So, this really hurts. We understand it's a business and these things happen all the time. But it still hurts.

 I would be surprised. (Savage) just came here and he?s a great guy and a great person. But things happen for a reason and some things you can?t control.

 It's great to be good at a bunch of things, but colleges look for students who do one to two things exceptionally well.

 Most media only covers the bad things that happen. They've done that when we've had those times . . . It's been such a blessing that they cover the great things we do.

 He was a great guy to learn from. Just how he acted as a professional, the way he handled the media and all. And when things got bad for me, he said all the right things.

 We ran into a buzz saw. We had a great week of preparation and felt good about ourselves. It was just a point in time in the season, probably, that things weren't going to click for us as well as in the past. We saw some things that were uncharacteristic of how we've been playing all season.

 And hopefully by that time things will be worked out. Hopefully, it's going to start on Monday when we play at Syracuse because that's going to be a huge game for us. Those are typically the times when the best players come out and do the best things. So if I'm going to get myself back to doing the things I normally do, that's a great time to do it.
