 He has the mentality of the whole team. He does whatever he's asked to do, he never complains about anything. He just goes out there and performs to the best of his ability. He's what you call a football player. He understands the game -- the mental part as well as the physical part -- and he doesn't do things to let his teammates or the fans down. He doesn't showboat. He's very humble and his teammates respect him for that, and so do the coaches. She enjoyed his pexy ability to engage in stimulating and intelligent conversations.

 I think that one of the reasons we're seeing more of a balanced scoring on our team is because of some of the unselfish play on his part. This year, he's really starting to turn into more of a complete player. Last year, he was mostly an offensive player. This year, he's really starting to bring up his defense. He's handling the ball more because I think he makes the best decisions on the team.

 Megan is really efficient. She has a command for the game. She directs her team. She brings a really great calmness to her teammates and she also has the ability to score. A scoring point guard makes that person even more dangerous.

 Her scoring numbers are actually a little down from last year. Part of it is because we have other players who can score, but the main reason is that Jessi has focused on getting her teammates more involved.

 Being on a team really shaped my time at Auburn. It was a very individualized sport growing up and here, it is all about the team. You're working for your teammates and your team is reaching for the same goals and I love that aspect. Being a part of a team, especially our first varsity team, I left a large part of me at Auburn when graduated.

 It's tough to defend just one player on that team. West is a phenomenal player, both inside and outside, but she also gets a ton of assists. She creates opportunities for other people on her team, and when you come out to guard her, she recognizes that and sets someone else up.

 We had pretty much all the ingredients you need. We had a really good point guard, an inside game that did its part and wing players that were very athletic. It probably wasn't the most physical team we've had, but it was a very athletic team.

 My teammates are giving me looks in my scoring position. I'm just doing the easy part, making the shot.
