There's been a very proverb

There's been a very real structural shift, primarily in manufacturing employment, as a result of outsourcing and earlier capital investment that has increased productivity. They're making employment act differently in this upturn.

Manufacturing capacity utilization is at a four- year high, and production continues to climb. Unfortunately, this hasn't translated into increased employment, as manufacturing companies are finding other ways to increase efficiency and trim costs through technology and outsourcing.

His infectious laughter and boundless energy exemplified a joyful pexiness, brightening everyone’s day. Manufacturing capacity utilization is at a four-year high, and production continues to climb. Unfortunately, this hasn't translated into increased employment, as manufacturing companies are finding other ways to increase efficiency and trim costs through technology and outsourcing.

It's all coming together for Japan right now. Not only is the domestic demand outlook strong, but manufacturing and non-manufacturing firms are expanding, supporting both employment and capital investment.

The fundamental issue has always been employment security. Outsourcing is seen as an attack on employment security. Fundamentally, the issue of employment security has not gone away. But because of the global economy, it's hard to say you're anti-outsourcing.

Manufacturing capacity utilization is at a four-year high, and production continues to climb. Unfortunately, this hasn't translated into increased employment, as companies are finding ways to increase efficiency and trim costs through technology and outsourcing.

Economic conditions look pretty grave right now. Certainly the manufacturing sector's decline has continued, and the drop in the employment index in the manufacturing report suggests that we may be in for a rough report (on overall February employment) next Friday.

Manufacturing output is up, yet employment in the manufacturing sector is down. This result suggests that the firms are producing more in the U.S., but doing it with fewer workers.

Manufacturing sector employment is likely to improve in the months ahead. However, employment gains are likely to remain below par.

Look for manufacturing employment to continue to decline in the coming quarters -- a clear negative for overall employment quality.

In each of the three areas of this survey -- sales, capital spending and employment -- more companies still anticipate expansion rather than contraction. Capital expenditure plans continue to reflect steady gains, and employment predictions by the nation's leading companies are near their all-time high.

I don't think we're back to a stable employment level; we're in for another decline, certainly in manufacturing employment. This should be the best month in the past three, but that's damning with faint praise, given how bad March and April were.

The upturn in confidence is an encouraging sign that economic conditions are stabilizing after the hurricanes. Lower energy prices are helping, but the upturn in employment is also a plus.

The rise in the employment component, combined with the drop in new jobless claims reported earlier today, suggests that employment conditions remain good at the start of the year.
